But dog needs to be proven as well but bitch is most important. I've seen it many times where dogs are world beater but mated to mediocre bitches and pups are hit or miss ?

    best way to trial a dog is to go out with the owner watch dog run if happy pay for the dog trial over. nowt worse than chasing a man with your hard earned money when dog doesnt do as was told by last owner just tha way i prefer to trial a dog good luck with the sale atb jackard

    take you bitch out with an experienced dog regular and keep her on the lead, just let her watch for a few weeks . dont be tempted to let her have a go , how ever much she struggles. the more she watches the keener she will be come. after a few weeks let her have a run then straight back on the lead. just build her up and dont over do her with runs. she will come good doing it this way atb jackard
