Hi David, thanks! Yes I do often fly him from the soar it is my favourite way to fly. Some spectacular flights when everything comes together.

Another nutrunner in the bag today. The pup pointing one in the wall after the hawk put in a spectacular stoop on it. He's there for another day!

Yes that could be right although there just aren't any around locally to me. I have some half decent ground but have to travel, and even the numbers there aren't what they used to be!

Yes, to be honest there aren't many rabbits about locally without travelling. There's lots of squirrels about so that's the easiest option at the minute.

Another one in the bag this morning. Some good flights, then pulled this one out of a drey! A small bite off this one but nothing to worry about.

If you have ground with plenty of rabbits you will fill the freezer enough to keep bird and ferrets fed in the off season.

Had to go back today as tag had become detached from hawk somehow. Lost daylight and battery in reciever low.do 45 minute drive back today. After searching the wife went into squirrel mode and eventually found it high in canopy,lol

Unfortunately one of those days. He nailed a squirrel at the top of the tree in the ivy. Dropped to a lower bough, then decided to take his fill. So with tag put to sleep for 19 hours, it's an early start in the morning, lol. #10

Yes he's a good dog, a bit full on but unbelievable drive. He needs to steady up on the pointing but on the whole pleased with him!

Yes it was a good day! I like hunting a bit of everything with him. However I do enjoy the team work of dog,ferret,man and hawk.
