  1. My brother is working in Dublin at the minute and he says the same, lol.
  2. It's swings and roundabouts wilf, I could go work in Dublin tomorrow and double my wage, I sure as shit wouldn't get it in Belfast.
  3. I see you as far removed from the mainland as you are Dublin len, just my opinion but can you not see by the way you were treated by the current government that they don't give a rats ass about the unionists in Northern Ireland, you've become as big a thorn in their side as we've been, something we have come to have in common. Lol.
  4. I honestly think the north could be a powerhouse in a united Ireland and the South would be lucky to have us, and as far as unionism goes I think it could be good thing for the rest of Ireland and a lot of lessons could be learnt from them about putting your own first.
  5. How a unionist navigates the transition will be up to them wilf, I'm afraid I can't help them with that. I
  6. The people in the north were never asked if they wanted to be part of Britain, its taken a hundred years and a lot of bloodshed to get to this point where they will have a chance to be asked.
  7. Unionists will still be unionists, their history won't be rewriten or forgotten. Do you genuinely believe that loyalists will start killing nationalists on the streets of a united Ireland.
  8. There will be sum len, just as there will be some unionists will think being in the eu will be better for business, and as far as I'm aware the dole in the south is a lot more than it is in the north so scroungers will just carry on doing their thing.
  9. A united Ireland will and is going to happen wilf of that I'm 100% certain. Loyalists can go to war if they like but they'll be doing it in a united Ireland, as for being different a 100 years of partition will of had an effect but thankfully not enough to undermine the feeling of irishness amongst the nationalist communities in the north while living under British rule, its been a long old road to get to this point but I've faith in the people of this island to grasp a chance of a united Ireland with both hands.
  10. Its what they've always done, do you honestly think that's ever gonna change.
  11. 100% the same with the house rental market as well, landlords ask extortionate rental prices because they know they will get 2 or 3 families of migrants squeezed into 1 property who split the rent while pricing out local folks, it doesn't take long for a decent neighbourhood to loose its appeal and people move out and landlords buy them up at a discounted price. I know this has been going on for a very long time over your way but it's a relatively new thing here and it's fcuking disgusting to watch a once nice area turn to shit.
  12. Liz Truss sparks cabinet row with plan to increase migrant numbers https://mol.im/a/11246733 via https://dailym.ai/android
  13. I was gonna ask a similar question the other evening, but as you seemed to be more a conditioner than a handler did you ever get a bond to any of the dogs you were working with, like a proper bond that only happens now and again with dogs you just click with. On the subject of your above post it's the same with all working dogs to some degree, I heard stories and read about a terrier on here and about the phenomenal worker and producer he was but when I seen him in the flesh while he was up this way to cover a bitch the poor bugger had hardly any hair on him and puss coming out of his eye
  14. No offence but that just sounds like a badly reared dog to me with no manners, id never tolerate a lurcher that lifted a lip to a person. Must be a saluki thing because I've never seen it with terrier crosses.
  15. I wouldn’t be able to get a rabbit of it because it will have fcuked off into the next count. Lol.
  16. Id kick your sand slugs under chin that hard it's muzzle snapping would take its eyes out. Lol Fcuking Jack Russell would make a better guard dog. Lol.
  17. Know a fella had one to keep any sticky fingers off his terriers and it was one of the nastiest dogs I've ever been around, cnut of a thing would make your ass twich just walking past his kennel.
  18. Aye a nightmare for any cnut that put a foot over the fence. Lol.

What the fcuk did you expect? Did you honestly think celtic support was going to give the Queen a minutes silence.
  20. Our place is still old school, Fella put a 4" nail through his finger a couple of weeks ago and it was run under a cold tap and a sticky plaster, outside for a cigarette and straight back to work. Lol.
  21. I done that a few times years ago while doing my apprenticeship. Lol.
