I said I reared a greyhound from a pup and as all I hunt is fox that is what it seen and did well on them, the bitch was breed from twice to two different kind of heavy dogs.     Buster the bitch I used for 1st crosses was in my kennels from 12 weeks old and reared like any other lurcher. Trenchfoot if the bulldog had been tested in his chosen field that would be good enough for me but his conformation would have to be right. And ginger you really are as dumb as a brush. Lol.

    Chaff I'm not trying to make greyhounds out to be something there not, but if someone wants a 1st cross bull I'd imagine they would be doing stuff that bites back so take it out and put stuff in front of it and find out what you have, it isn't rocket science. Do that and your half way there, getting the other half of the equation might be the hard part.lol.

    Penda to get good 1st crosses it depends on both sire and dam, same as breeding any other cross. Can't understand why someone would take on a pup from an untested dam just because it's a greyhound.

    Most greyhounds are well breed how many make it as open class racers? Not many. In my opinion if the greyhound bitch hasn't been tested on the game it's pups are going to be used on then it shouldn't be breed from, would you take a pup from 2nd cross if the bitch had never felt grass under her feet?

    People don't have to say anything negative about dog lads peter they do it to themselves. I agree that 90% of lads are decent but that 10% are the dregs of the hunting community, I'm not on face book but friends are and they say some of the shit people post pictures of is unreal. Joe public can't tell the difference between the 10% and the 90% and so we are all tarred as the same.

    Next boot I try is going to be the glockner. The haix protector pro are a great boot for digging but definitely get heavy if your doing a lot of walking.
