Firstly if I'm breeding first cross wheatens I'm not going to be to concerned about it's ferreting ability if fact it's the last thing id be asking. I've kept wheaten crosses of varying percentages for over 20 years so I have a rough idea what I'm talking about, I've never owned full wheatens as I have no use for them but the wheaten lurcher can excel at the fox game, plenty enough foot to catch good winter foxes, plenty enough nose to mark true every time and enough brain to think for themselves. A friend has a little bitch that most lurcher lads would be happy to kennel a true all rounder.
