  1. No can do fellas. Not a AA owner but would still have loved to come along. It's the weekend I have to go back to uni though after easter which is a bit of a bugger. Ah well. Have a good one won't you. ATB Freddy
  2. Nice knives guys. I didn't know you were still in touch with scuba he was vanished when I came back form my short leave of absence from the site. Where has he got to anyways? Say hi to him for me will ya. Cheers Freddy
  3. If you can't do that from 30 yards, you deffinately need more time on the range and should certainly not be trying to pull off longer shots standing That attitude to me and most other responsible hunters just sucks Talk about giving the anti's the amunition they want to bring airgun hunting into disrepute Phantom Phantom knows what he is talking about. Listen to his advice. Quite honestly that attitude is disgusting. Not too worried about the anti's more worried about the amount of bunnies running around with bits of lead in them. Aaron talks sense. We know
  4. When I read the topic title my imediate thought was "Oh no here we go again someone else against air rifles." But how wrong could I have been. That is exactly how hunting with air rifles or any other method should be. Very well said sir. All the best Freddy
  5. Sounds like you had a good day mate. Sunday does seem like a long time ago indeed. Glad to hear the UV pen worked for you. All the best Freddy
  6. We all remember your quote. We also remember your first one too, "Wow, how clever, shooting hares!!". Which unsurprisingly people took to mean that you didn't agree with shooting hares. If thats not what you meant then maybe you should word your responses more carefully so that there is not confusion about your intention. ATB Freddy
  7. Depends on the size of the cylinder on the gun mate and what pressures we are talking about. ATB Freddy
  8. Agree with you there mate. I think we should make our own THL airguning DVD set and sell it. All procedes to running THL or to a massive BBQ/ shoot for us all. Then we could show people how it supposed to be done. Put that we are recognised experts by anyone who knows anything about hunting with air rifles. And then obv don't price it a £74 quid. I'd buy it. ATB Freddy
  9. Quote of the day wins a t-shirt Make sure you send it then ARCHIE, or are you not a man of your word... Coz i am, and like all twats i can make things look a mess, especially soft things. No need for talk of such a nature, careful Archie.... And what is actually difficult about shooting a hare... I would say it is not less difficult than shooting a target but people do both as they enjoy it and it is a challege. And thats ignoring the fact that in some places they are a pest which adds another reason. What is less difficult about a hare than any other pest spec
  10. No comment Tony. Nice gun though Niel. You will have massive arms in no time carrying that thing around. All the best Freddy
  11. Ah you see it was all down to his mums contribution thats how they managed 700 without getting worn out. Still thats a fair few pellets lads. You should be getting some pretty good groupings in no time if you keep that up. All the best Freddy
  12. I know it's a Crow but it still deserves respect. Some of them offered easy head shots. Some of them offered their heads more clearly than body shots and he still took the body shot. Even if it meant shooting through foliage. You should never shoot through anyhting as the pellet can be deflected and just wound the quarry. Not good form. I wouldn't pay £74 for 3 DVD's anyway and I wouldn't even pay £7.40 for those. ATB Freddy
  13. I think my trigger finger might be worn out after shooting that many in a row even split between 2. ATB Freddy
  14. Surely thats a massive joke. They seriously expect us to pay that much. Any one know who he is recognised as an expert by? ATB Freddy
  15. Unlucky on the 2 missed woodies mate. Sounds like you had a good day in all though. Freddy
  16. Yeh i think you are right most of them look like body shots and some of them clearly didn't work. On at least one he quite obviously takes at least 2 shots to bring it down. Bad form that, especially bad that he then puts it in a DVD. Some people. lets just learn from his mistakes. ATB Freddy
  17. I think you made the right choice there mate. I hope you think it was worth the extra work. Now maybe you can get onto the council again. Give them the bill for the repairs Nice one mate. Freddy
  18. Quote of the day wins a t-shirt Absolute genius Archie Freddy
  19. Before any of the others get there first mate this is in entirely the wrong section. You will be lucky if many people who would have an answer even see it. You need to head down to the airguns section of the forum and post there in the advice board. That way you will get much more help. I think with some mags you have to stop the pellet from falling out yourself but having never used this mag I don't really know. Go to the airgun section and post there instead and you might find out. All the best Freddy
  20. Unlucky on the no show with the bunnies. Hope you boy had a good time though. Hopefully when he next goes out with you it will be a more successful session. All the best Freddy
  21. Good on ya Davy. Thats what we need. I would offer to send a few others too as I know I have some sitting around at home that I don't use in my .22 (obviously). Only problem is they are about 250miles away. Might be buying a .177 again soon though so then it will be my turn to test pellets again. Chances are the ones I already have will be rubbish. Just my luck. Hope you get sorted mate. All the best Freddy
  22. Shouldn't be too much different. As I said just try it out on something first that way you are leaving nothing to chance. And as is said all the time we owe it to the things we shoot not to get it wrong. Hope all goes well mate. Freddy
  23. You got one in the end then Davy. Nice one mate. Pity about the first two shots but its nice for the rest of us to know that even you make mistakes. Nice to know once the technical problem was sorted you were back on usual top form though. All the best Freddy
  24. Erm what scopes mate? Even better if its the x20 mate. Freddy
