Got my little fella out tonight learning the ropes in the local field near me,hes comming to the glove by torch light prob around 20 yds and hes hit the dummy bunny a good few times,first few trys he was dropping a little to short and then a little too much,but after a few goes SPOT ON...let the lamping commence next week ...i shall keep you updated guys "i cant wait now"

Well Tried Our Luck Again Yestarday... Rico caught 2 cock phessies, the first one was in front of us has he was up high on a piece of farm machinery and the cock bird just flew into the yard and my lad was on him like a rocket,caught him after a short flight just over the farm yard,but has i started to run across to "help out" i fell over arse over tit...the cock bird just pulled away thro some pig wire fence leavin Rico with a talon full of feathers ... Half way around the estate we must have seen prob 30+ bunnies but they were just holding too tight to the hedges and no sooner had Rico

The bird took on the slip behind my mate where you can see the long hedgerow...we paced it out and it was just under 200yds to be correct Cracking Day..i have tried uploading a video but it will not accept it again

Well we had 3 slips on bunnies and 1 on a hen phessie which my lad missed by about 2 sec it beat him to a blackthorn hedge the kill we had was a cracker tho,it was a slip which my bird took on at 100yds when he caught the bunny it reached another 100yds so in all 200 yds from the slip i only wished we caught it all on camera could not believe it,it does pay to get you hawks fit and if you do get you harris hawks fit nothing is impossible ............... ..

I tried my male harris last season on the lamp and he just didnt get it ! i was gutted because there was a few squaters about and he just kept looking around and not at the point of impact on the beam ! only twice i took him i gave up after the second time,maybe il give it another bash soon you never know,at least i can go out on my own then insted of relying on lads to tag along to do a bit of ferreting..

Im struggling to get somebody to tag along with me,all my guys dont have any interest in ferreting at all just bigger stuff,if you want a day over with me i have plenty to go on,if you are prepared to do the ferreting and il fly over with my hawk,and maybe in return il have a day with you in the future,but im just really looking to get out has much has i can with the hawk...

It will do me arcticgun,decent range easy to use and dont know you carrying it,for harris hawks or gosses you cant beat them.

jay im currently using a tracker classic bought off the iff spot on and i know where theres one set for sale at a very reasonable price,mine is on 216..yes its a band freq so dont tell the telementry police what ever you do..

..Well After a "not so long summer " im out rico down to 1lb5 .5/6 and we where away early sat morning to do some ferreting under the hawk,what a cracking start to the season,all the ferretts worked well bolting at least 10-11 bunniess for the hawk,of wich he took 2,one of the bolt and another squatter in a field,i have tried to upload a video but it will not allow me to,hope you guys are having the same luck cant wait for the weekend again

Funny this post has been put up because im having the same trouble with my male harris, Flew him last season 1lb 6 great response,hunted him just under 1lb 6 binding well,i brough him out prob about a month now flew him every single day for 2 weeks response instant any distance,out of trees or when hes flying above me,only flew him twice in the last 2 weeks has i had problems with my scales and work load,weighed him earlier 1lb6 took him out and his response was shit,he came after some wiggling of food on my glove ? when he did come he snatched it and went a field away ... again took some pe

Hi guys ive been trying to find a decent company to purchase some hawking/falconry equipment. Which ones have you guys had dealings with have they been any good as in 1 Customer Service 2 Delivery Time 3 Delivery Price 4 Quality Of Products 5 Price of Product And all over experience in dealing with the said supplier ? Be nice to find out just from our compiled list whos to deal with and whos to avoid i have a few in mind but would like to know some of the dealings you guys have had also Thanks in advance.
