    R.I.P Fly, it's a bloody horrible thing to happen, it happened to me in september and i tell you it hit me hard, like a member of family died, took me ages to get over it, but time does heal and he will always be in your thoughts.

    Thanks fellas, im looking forward to it, but not so confident with my bitch Lets just say bigboy has a good chance!! Last years comp jodie had a problem with her front toe before our heat and this year it's this damn toe before our heat! I just hope my old girl does ok tonight fingers crossed.

    My lurchers ears are still like it now, one is 3 years old and the other nearly 8 years old, i think it adds to character how they're ears differ everyday, they have many positions lol.

    The merle is just the same as any other collie x i would imagine, merle isn't a special breed, it's just a colour, doesn't effect them in any way.

    Just a quick update on my bitch, she went back to the vet this morning to have it amputated but thankfully it didn't happen, another x ray was taken and the bones have already started to colloust together, she has to go back in a months time to see how it is progressing, if it is healing well then the toe stays and will be stronger than before or else the toe comes off if it isn't healing well, heres hoping the healing goes well and the toe stays, for now it's rest, road walking, antibiotics for 10 days and anti inflammatorys for a month!!     No that toes fine, it's one of her outer toes on her back foot, i will take some pics when it's done. Just sods law that this has happened.

    Thanks fellas, i can't wait to get it run, good weather for it to at the moment. Yes paid i will now be running blues dam, although she now does occasionally pick her 'runs'.

    Bigboy has let me know that he can run our heat next wednesday, i have had to take my bitch to the greyhound vet today as she hurt her toe tuesday night, she has broke her toe and it is being amputated on monday or else i would have a bill of £800 - £900 to get a pin put in it, anyway she will not be able to run for about 6 weeks after so she is out of the comp and i will have to run my semi retired bitch instead, i just hope she runs ok..............

    I've been ready to run my heat for well over a month now, but bigboys bitch was in season, then he had work commitments, now his bitch is injured............

    Thankyou LL. Yes we were at brean, apart from W.S.MUD lol, brean is the closest beach to us! Only about an hours drive. Mind you, we couldn't really call it a beach that day as it was raining quite abit on the way down!

    I haven't put a thread up for a while, but thought i would today, me and my partner Jemblitz took our dogs down to the beach yesterday, it wasn't the best weather but the dogs and us thoroughly enjoyed themselves, it was a good change of scenery which is nice every now and then. Hope you enjoy looking.

    Yes i did own one, he died in september. There are quite a few blue bull x's about. Colour doesn't kill though does it.

    Bloody hell anne marie, thank god you had insurance for her!! She looks sorry for herself. I have never had a dog break a bone while out working yet, touch wood!! I wish jazz all the best recovering, the weeks will go by and she will soon be out and about again. Good luck!! x
