    Agree with most of what's been said finding the right pup is the biggest challenge , try make sure see parents doing what you want. Plenty of bullshitters and money men in the breed to stay clear of. I've not seen a different breed hunt on top like a beddy and when you get a good un they will hold there own as a earth dog. Wouldn't say there bolting dogs though

    Good luck with pups, if people were genuinely breeding to keep one there self and want best for the bitch they would only keep a handful max from birth. Far too many lurcher and pups about and this is the main reason!

    Do agree with Morton far to many below average beddy litters being bred. Matty has admitted there not even bushers just a farm dog, so how can 200£ be acceptable no other breed would be selling for that much and owners of any other grafting breed wouldn't be happy either. Matty has been honest with what parents work unlike most but the litter shouldn't be bred in the first place. This is a working dog site

    Seen some handy mooching lurchers but they don't compare to a bushing dog, a mooch with out the beddy is alot easier shorter but alot less fun for the lurchers

    any healthy dog should be able to out run its owner.it doesnt need be a working line just athletic/healthy type
