I just wondered if there anything i can put on my col whips ears! she has got a slit on each ear from bushing when younger, even after heals happens again next time does some tight bushing which shes doing quite alot. it doesnt bother her but looks like she has dunked her head in bucket of blood from shaking her head. so when walking home with her and see other people get some real bad looks. also my garden gets covered in blood. she has quite good coat just ears dont have the thickest hair. any ideas?

theres a bloke at the beat i go, with beddy whippet but cant let off lead will nail anything but bloke not got control of it. i use my collie whippet for beating aswel as rabbits, hopefully start picking up with her next year. shes been around chickens from pup so still wont grabbed pegged bird but if went every week think she would proper good. took her last week shes starting to naturally give a point then i send her in bush and she flushes, got few weird looks but she not put foot wrong yet even when the proper gun dogs do. just got be on look out for bambi because when out mooching shes ge

cheers CJS, she gets plenty of rub downs hoping might help. seems run ok sometimes put on lead goes stiff next day holds it. not clue how far peterborough is but try get up there next year if dont heal with more rest.

what about collie grey x whippet grey or something similar, would say 1/4 collie is enough. or even col whip grey x deer grey

As you already got ferrets, use them for bolting the rabbits, no dogs can safely bolt rabbits from warren. get yourself some nets and use your dog for marking the warrens, bushing and pinning the rabbits in the nets. need get your dog 100% trust worthy with ferrets. you dont want your dog trying to get in warren your about to ferret. a bloke i started ferreting with got a little jrt was good marker and was great at catching rabbits as soon as they bolted.

Would like to give my Col whip ago at it next shooting season,spend summer teaching hand signals for directions. Not bad beat dog but think she would enjoy pickin up more and so would I.

my pup been a nightmare with injury last few months. 12months xmas eve not chased a thing. doing my tits in fine one min, bad leg the next. dying to get her on bike to bulk up and get fit then let her have a run on summit.

dam was light brindle, she did have fluffy coat as pup. she has quite good coat now but cant really see in pics say about inch long. her nose colour was interesting changing colour only little pink drop left on it now
