Noticed today one of my 4 jills is in season already! is anyone elses yet? the main problem is there all in together and that includes a hob, i know hobs have a season when there balls drop, so will he not want to breed with her till his do?
sure i got quoted 40quid last summer. will be getting hob done this summer when his balls drop. rake aboot is your hob ready now? loaned a hob last year for week sure gave bloke 10 quid which was happy with to serve 4 jills. so if you get yours done always stud him for few quid in summer which will take edge off massive vet bill and keep him smiling.
my 2 albino jills which are sisters in there 2nd working season have never stayed with a kill. they come out covered in fur and blood but they have kept bolting them after. one is better worker than the other one, there always on the bunnies ass when bolts and if rabbits decides to try back in after seeing dog the ferret usually kills rabbit in hole entrance which is handy. they always have food in hutch which has got to help.
what heights your beddy tts? what were the parents doing? ya alot show/crap being breed people seeing dollar signs surely is only reason for it. but giving beddy bad name
try the working bedlington site. as for breeding few years work atleast first under his belt. friends be fine finding ratting beddies around to buy, but good digging pups another story
think i was lucky was working at mates, with sheeps being born and bottle fed around my first pup. used have her in room when bottle feeding and was amongst then 5days a week and then walking around fields with sheep at heal wanting a bottle. she soon learnt to stay away from cows. took my new pup out there few times since having on lead walking around field with sheep walking beside us. might pop out there tomorrow will try get some pics.
good cleaning just after done then pencilling jab and anti biotics. dread to think how much vet charge. lucky got mate who gets all stuff vets do but sells for 1/5 the price
cheers skycat. they had plenty of time to heal few times and they did but when had all snow seem re open. is little slit on thin bit of ear thats eventually re opened. been covering her ears in vas last few mooching sessions has worked. see why spaniels have the ears they do.
