    agree with socks, why let dogs get out of shape?? theres different types of exercise can do, swimming in summer, chase balls/frisbies, bike work etc.

    I've not heard of certain time to clip them, I suppose wait till there coats fully changed from a big fluff ball. I've done my bitch twice now she's 14 months. If weather got hot again I would do her again. But when bushing she pulls alot of it out
