    UFC.......

mate your a legend.. lol yes im looking forward to it.. should calm me down like you say it helps you focus... one of the boys i go to the gym with he had a fight and the name of the organisation was ucf (ultimate cage fighting) he also one by sumbmission (a arm bar) but then 6 weeks later had another fight and got knocked out so bad he broke his nose so its not for the faint hearted No it's a hard sport and I have respect for anyone that does contact sports especially for the feckers who step in the ring to spar with me in boxing. Only joking. Have fun and enjoy it. JoeD
  2. You are right I took one to college today to find out what it is and the morio beetles (giant mealworms) that we feed to the exotics are the exact same. So if you see them in your house you may have meal worms :S JoeD

    UFC.......

Yes I like MMA I haven't done it but would deffinately do it if a gym was near by. I have a lot of mates that do it and one had 2 fights for cage rage when they where still around. Last MMA event in watford my mates won his first fight with a aubmission (gillotine to be exact) and I believe it is a fantastic sport, creates a lot of inner strength, self confidence, amazingly it relaxes you and a great self defence aswell. All the best if you do go ahead with the training. JoeD

  7. Hi I am wondering if anyone here could give me a bit of information regarding a SGC. I am 17, 18 in November I am thinking of joining a clay pigeon club but have done it a few times before and thouroughly enjoyed it. I am thinking of applying for a SGC now but have a few questions - How old do you have to be? - Do you need a place to shoot before you get a SGC - How much is a SGC - Where can I get an application form and if you can add any information that might be usefull or important then can you please put it down. Thanks in advance, JoeD

    Bit of a shock

Yep I am hoping to go for a scout on saturday and to meet the land owner and to see if he has any quiestions or any terms etc etc
  9. It was a bit fo a shock last month I dropped some letters around some farms and stables and about 2 minutes ago I got a phonecall from a guy who has given me permission along a hedgerow, he said there burrows are on another field but eat his crops on his land and asked if I longnetted before, I was totally honest with him say I haven't got much experience in just longnetting but I will have a go and so I now have a long hedgerow to longnet on. I am still quite shocked as it was quite a while ago that I dropped the letters round and I gave up hope of them contacting me. Just goes to show that

  12. Cheers for the advice Ron I think I will start e-mailing and writing to all pest control firms in the yellow pages and all the ones I can find on the internet. JoeD
  13. I thought I might ask you lot for your advice, I am seriously thinking about pest control as a career. I have looked on the BPCA site as suggested by stubby and came across this course http://www.bpca.org.uk/coursearticle.asp?s...enleewtsapf=149 What do you guys think and is it a good stepping stone towards the path of a pest controller. Cheers, JoeD

  18. Can neutered (spelling) hobs bring jills out of season as I want to get 2 of my hobs done but a vasectomy is out of my price range at the moment I haven't got any jills but might do later on for smaller holed warrens, and possibly breeding in a season or 2. But f a neutered hob can't take a jill out of season I wont get any jills till I can get a vesectomy done. Thanks, JoeD

  22. Hi I am saving up for an air rifle, I have used air rifles a lot but only for paper targets at places like scouts and I have used them at an old air rifle club I used to attend. Anyway I am just wondering what rifle is best for grey squirrels as theres a few land owners I know of that want the greys taken control of. My budget could probably stretch to about £300 - £350 Thanks for the information in advance. JoeD

  24. Trigene is one of the most safe disinfectants there is. Its safe in all aspects of animal (and human) husbandry, we have used it exclusively in our boarding kennels for almost 16yrs now. Not sure where you got the info about if not being safe, would like to see it though if you can point me to it as the Medichem folk were recently round our place and never mentioned it. Safe4pets is a fraction of the price from what I gather? We get all the information drilled into our heads about trigene being safe but only when dried out and safe4 to be expensive. If it is wrong then thanks for cor
