I wish them all the best, I would hate to be away for christmas. I may be joining the army when i turn 18 and the being away from family/friends is the only thing making me think twice about joining.

We where debating about food, heating and electricity but not things like car fuel. I was saying you can have a wind turbine for electricity for your home, and grow the food, hunt, fish, etc. And for heating you can have log burners, water I am not sure about but there probably is a way. And we where not saying that it is neccesary to do this we where just debating if it is was actually possible. JoeD

Ok here’s a question that me and this old guy where debating about earlier today. Is it possible nowadays to be 100% self sufficient and live off what you grow, catch, hunt, rear or find? I personally think you can but it will be really hard, and you will have to work your socks off to be 100% yet this bloke was so sure know one can do it nowadays, but I would just like to hear other peoples views. Just got back from my 1st proper rugby training session in years, and all I got to say is feck me I am unfit, 20 minutes in and I felt like an old man weezing and coughing up my guts, but after realising how unfit I really am I am determind to go to training week in week out and get into the squad. So my new years resolution has to be GET FIT AND LOSE THAT LAYER OF FAT THATS ALWAYS BUGGED ME, I say it every year but this year I am going to make sure I am. JoeD

Football factory, it's so much more realistic than green street. Green street is a good laugh but Football factory is based on what really happens in reality.

that'll teach joeD to come out without appropiate clothing, was lucky I had the works van, and lent him my work jacket, otherwised he would have frozen to death Thank you Steve I knew it was going to be cold but it was absolutely freezing today lol.
