Oh and Steve I already have a favourite when I let them run free in the garden one stays near me and wants all the attention while the others just roam and destroy the garden. JoeD
  5. I am thinking of getting 2 of my 3 hobs vasectomised, will they still be fine together after or will they fight? I am only wanting 2 done because just incase I choose to breed them next year which is a high possibility then I will have a whole hob and I will get a jill nearer the time. JoeD

    Mesh

Where abouts can I buy some strong mesh for my ferret court that I am making as I only have a hutch and a seperate run which means that the ferrets cant have both hutch and run at the same time. I ask because people say that chicken wire and that sort of stuff is to thin and ferrets bite through it. Any help would be great thanks JoeD

And then the dug over pictures are what I have done this week. I have dug up a little under a quarter of it but to be fair I have only spent around 4 or 5 hours up there and it is back breaking with all those stones in them. But my goal is to have at least 3/4 of it dug by next saturday which should be do-able if I go up there for an hour or 2 after college. But I just can't wait to start growing my veg up there Anyway here are the
  24. Ok I want to have a go at making cider this year. One problem though is that I haven't got a clue how to, so if anyone has any recipes, tips, methods or anythign really then that would be great. I have stumbled across a big traditional orchard that the owner has said that most of his apples go to waste and that I can have as many as I like, which cider instantly popped into my head, and when I metioned that I might have a go he said he would be more than happy to take some of my hands. He also gave me permission to ferret on his land and as a reward for catching his that are eating his
