Stunning looking dog. The face stripe is lovely.

Thanks now thats a compliment & a half from someone who takes pictures for a living dead chuffed now Seriously i love it, keep coming back to look at it. Imo by having the flower at distance in focus, your drawing the eye into the picture and enhancing the natural light, beautiful. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . God listen to me getting all arty . . . . . . it's the hangover i think. :alcoholic:

I think it is spot on as it is!

Kay the perspective you have used to express the shooting bulbs in the 2nd pic from the bottom, is fantastic. Love that photo a lot.
-
Lots of familiar faces on there, they are still hassling us but now we have police dealing with them and it's working well.
-
You have a gorgeous new puppy. . . . .. cheer up!!

I've lived in Suffolk for 9 years now. . . . . i love it but sometimes find "locals" just well weird! Not all i hasten to add.

This is my "colliemation" or "dollie" as some call them. . . . . I call her my big hairy nutcase! She was the result of an accidental mating and cost me a bottle of wine. . . . . . . best bottle i ever brought, she's 1 in a million and excels at everything i ask of her, loyal, obiediant, game, funny and the best dog i've ever owned. I would not however have gone looking for this cross, nor would i have paid excessive amounts of money for her. Now though, to me she is worth more than money can buy.

saying good-bye was harder than I thought!

Thats a bit harsh, the guy is merely expressing how he felt about loosing a loyal worker. nothing un manly about that. Do you own a bull cross? Don't bother, 90% of his posts on here are knocking somebody or like the above. It's where the 'ignore user' function comes in handy. Roger that 1! -

old type russell with the turned legs
Hannah4181 replied to aaron01's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
He's 6 now, i've never used him for digging. He has self entered a couple of times however i only knew about it when he came home 4 hours later without any white showing at all!! I'm glad he doesn't do it a lot though as i'd never be able to walk him off lead. The farm land we live in has tons of big sets/burrows. -
Yes i had planned to take him out with Night time but he has disappeared and never sorted it out, Mooshka, i have talked to her a few times, we are going to try him on a lure but i haven't heard from her in a while, i'm sure i will and he will pick up some good habits He's still young as well, you've got plenty of time. Him and spider will be killing machines in no time! Good luck with him.
-
My friend was forever saying that spider was retarded! I actually started to think the same, he was that un interested and vacant! Seriously though i think a lot of it is just dogs maturing at different rates. Your not that far from me, i'm by no means an expert, infact a complete beginner but if you wanted to come over for a walk and let him watch my mob putting up rabbits, your more than welcome. Spider has his first look out lamping with Fireman, nighttime my time and mooshka from on here. They are all Norfolk way, and were so friendly and helpful to me. Have you used a flirt stick wi

old type russell with the turned legs
Hannah4181 replied to aaron01's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
I only posted on here because my JRT has the turned in leg thing going on, i've never known if he was just poorly bred or a certain strain of terrier?? Someone once mentioned queen anne type to me, again i'm unsure as to wether this was a critisism?! Regardless he's a great little dog and will work rats and rabbits well. -
someones getting a bit snobby those bloody commoners get everywheere dont they old chap! Haha, i speak as i find . . . . . common or a toff. . . . . Irresponsible dog ownership is rubbish whoever does it! Oh and it's chick, not chap . . . . . . . or lady, if your prefer!
-
Depends on the breed and the owner, i know a "Tyson". . . . . he's a minature dashaund! I also have heard "Tyson" being yelled at full pitch by a common, uneducated, chav with an over weight and out of control staffie at the local water meadows.
-
I can't fault him when we are out walking, he never wanders far anyway but always comes when called, even if playing with other dogs, HOWEVER he sometimes decides to just sit down and look at me like i am crazy when i call him in from the garden VERY annoying!! i can tell him to sit and he either does it beautifully or he just completly ignores me, as for doing anything on command for anyone else...............forget it!! not a chance in hell, they do need a firm owner, i live in a 'up its own arse area' so am waiting for someone to have a go at me when i am being firm with him, all good fun

Labs and Lurchers on this sight, has a rescue lurcher which is already trained and would be the ideal ferreting partner by all accounts. Just a thought.
-
I just don't get why any women would be annoyed with being given a puppy. . . . . . i'd be putty in any mans hands, puppies are my weakness.
-
Yeah i freeze all the dog food. My guy delivers which is great, see how you get on with the butchers and if you decide to switch completely to raw and need the number send me a PM.
-
I buy a months worth at a time and i'm buying for 6 dogs so it's hard to say really. Your local to me if you want i can give you the number of my guy who supplies all my raw food, he's only in Nedging near Bildeston and stocks a massive range of raw dog feed, also very good prices. You'd be hard pushed to get better from a butcher.

I feed mine bone 1 day and mince the next to stop the dogs getting bunged up. Mine have lamb legs regulary and i've never had a problem. If your worries feed chicken wings or carcasses, turkey necks, lamb breast and beef rib. What is your bully? I know staffords and AM bull dogs are fine on all the bone i've mentioned, i think it's just British Bulldogs you need to worry about.
-
Well if they are girls just laugh at them. . . . they probably are only doing it because they fancy you, they'll never admit it (not with that hair!! JOKE!), but your different and i'll bet they secretly like the hunting matcho thing.

Stop crying into your cheesecakes and banging on about being lonely people. . . . . . . . . . Love is just an excuse for insecure people! Remember if your single your free to do as you please whenever you please. . . . And for those slightly lonely days, you have your dogs! . . . . . . . . . .. . .. . . . life is good!

I may be wrong but i think if you do use it on a wound, you are meant to leave a hole at the lowest end to allow any fluid to drain.
