  1. iv seen my mates ferret do this, and the same ferret bolt and climb my leg when iv picked a rabbit up in a purse net. he all ways comes out wired when he bolts a rabbit like a madman lol.
  2. I went and did an interview there for a pig course, but ended up at Askham Bryan because Bishop Burton was too far away, but looked like a really great collage. while i was there they had an owl called Baldrick hooting at me constantly during the interview lol.
  3. my favorite dead bait is sardines i hook them in the tail root right on the very edge where the tail starts and never had any problems with them staying on, i get mine from Morrison's fish counter. my favorite lure is a number four mepps comet (red and brass) they seem to be great on the Leeds and Liverpool canal and make a lot of vibration. live bait wise i found gudgeon to be great and keep lively longer than any others, especially when used with the lightest float possible so they search the water more and don't tire out sooner.
  4. thanks for that iv not tried it yet, going out with it tommorow
  5. aya yoeman with pistol grip and beavertail forend. its a 12 guage and in good condition, chokes half and full. im selling it to buy a hammergun so if you have one for sale please pm me in asking for £140 for it thank you.

  11. Them fuckers will eat anything man,my mate used to live in a shared house in pompey with 5 of them, and I`ve seen the shit in the freezer. me and my mate where night fishing last Friday night when we both just turned to each other and said at the same time (in similar words) where have the ducks gone? there is remains of many campfires but never seen any feathers though. it just seemed strange
  12. I'm not suggesting anything but on my favorite local still water, all the ducks have disappeared as soon as the polish regulars started. has anyone heard of them been taken too?. they have been there years so its strange
  13. this is a verry interesting question and answer, i have wondered this before but never tried it. sounds good for higher security, with forends removed and fired with snap caps then stored seperate.
  14. good on you guys, wish you all the best
  15. great pics! i cant wait to get my whippet pup started
  16. sounds like your describing my last eel night session with spooky similarities! i since went up to size 2 hooks as an experiment and hit more runs they can drive you mad at times, better look next time!
  17. Then you just have to clean the drawer instead of the cage - whats the advantage? only a small oven tray size (its only for a small corner) just tip it out
  18. looking forward to the write up buddy, good luck
  19. i was told by a guy a while ago about cutting a semi circle hole in the corner of a hutch and covering it with mesh, and when they need to go it drops into a tray underneath (he made it like a drawer system) he said also you can put some disinfectant in the tray to help stop smells. i don't keep my own ferrets so i haven't done it but it sounds good.
  20. i was told once by a guy walking his dog that parvo can survive 5 years in a garden is this true?

    freeky meat

a few years ago me and my mate where gutting a trout we caught and then when we cut the head off, it flapped all over the worktop (a good 5 - 7 seconds of flapping) it had no guts and had been properly despatched at least two hours before. we ran out the kitchen shouting and then we had to give it to the cat because we darent eat it. i heard eels can move a few hours after despatch too?
  22. f**k me a new memeber cant even ask to see ferret courts without you jumping on them with use the SEARCH button, about as helpful as f**k all so right
