    Two Irish hunters got a pilot to fly them to Canada to hunt moose. They bagged six.As they started loading the plane for the return trip,the pilot said the plane could only take four moose. The two lads objected strongly."Last year we shot six,and the pilot let us put them all on board and he had the same plane as yours". Reluctantly, the pilot gave in and all six were loaded. I got my dog from a rescue at 18 months.It does take a lot of patience as you have to start from scratch with basic obedience .He's never going to be the best dog around but he does ok on the lamp for me & to be honest if i was a better trainer he'd be a better dog.Glad your mate's giving it a go & best of luck.

    Absolute nutters the lot of them,rigged up a firebomb to a womans car near us a few years back,she would have burnt to death if a neighbour hadn't pulled her out.

    no shortage of rabbits in this part of Wiltshire .i cant remember the last time i saw a mixy rabbit,also a fair amount of hares.there's some M.O.D land near me that is alive with bunnys ,hundreds of them .this land is never shot & it's a mass of warrens

I took the dog out last night around a field next to my house just for a stroll.I use the secondary beam on the lamp as a torch,anyway i flicked onto the main bulb & saw this bunny sat right out.I'd never seen a rabbit in there before & couldn't resist so i slipped the dog & after a good run he nailed it & put it live in my hand. Perfect!! Nice way to end the day.
  20. your bitch looks like she's going really well so early in the season.do you think she's bang on for fitness/sharpness or is there still more to come? You've got a cracking dog there mate!
