Sorry I've had to pull this thread... first chance I've had because I've only just seen it. Turk. While I have no doubt that the red 'un was done instantly we can't show foxes being taken with air rifles. Even FAC ones. Minimum approved calibre .17 HMR.

Good price but the spares are now like rocking horse shit. Hard to get parts for when things go wrong. Save a bit more dosh and go for a new S200, or wait for a 2nd hand one to come around for similar money. It's lighter than the 300 series and your lad will be much happier carrying it round. Alec. Any talk of tuning guns up on the forum will have your posts pulled. If you want to deal in FAC air rifles do it through the legal channels.

If you went in one of those 'special clubs' would you give your phone number to the fella in the gas mask? Would you f**k! So just imagine that the person that has just sent you that PM is the bloke in the gas mask. The only difference is you can't see his gas mask or any other paraphenalia Actually that might not work for everyone here...

As I recall it was something to do with the manufacturing of the .177 magazine that was causing the problems. .22 was fine. All sorted now anyway as it was the early ones. Are sure Duz? It should be a simple case of removing the mag and it's adaptor to get your single shot back? If not give Air Arms a ring on 01323 845 853. They'll quote you MRP and put you in touch with your local retailer.

I really rate the S200. Magazine problems were restricted to early .177's but all the creases are supposed to be ironed out. Now chop the barrel and get a decent silencer screwed on

Be careful with this review centre. Don't use it as a definitive resource. For example alot of that shite SMK stuff is scoring higher than the Theoben and Weihrauch rifles which is just plain bollocks. If you want to buy an air rifle do your research based on alot more factors than just this one site.

What's your budget? Cheap is one thing but some cheap rifles aren't upto anything other than shooting tin cans. What can you stretch to?
