  1. Ain't that the truth! Seriously bring your own gear but be careful because some of the security will try and refuse you entry if you're carrying your own gear.
  2. I certainly wouldn't try and excuse something like this. It's f*****g abhorrent but that's the reality of it and how legal loopholes work. I'm not 100% certain but I've been told that post natal depression, in Britain, is legally definable up to the child being 13 months old but I must stress that's just what I've heard, I couldn't say exactly, or even at all. As this happened in the US I wonder what the outcome will be... we'll probably never know until, or if, she faces execution and this could take years.
  3. I think that is a good thing. How many responsible shooting men would leave a loaded and cocked gun around a child? Exactly. This mentality that air guns are simply BB guns, or toys, has to stop and the best way to do that is to put them on ticket. People are calling this a tragic accident. I dispute that. An accident implies that no one was to blame. Leaving a loaded gun in the proximity of a child is a very, very, bad thing and I can't help but wonder if people had to go through some sort of proficiency training that this would happen at all? I do agree though that this guy
  4. Hurry back Sean! You're already missed!
  5. That's brought a big smile to my face, Grim! Send our regards on to Liam, for a job well done!
  6. The baby was a month old so the defence will be Post Natal Depression. She'll do jail time but I doubt she'll be executed. Depends how good her legal defence is.
  7. Sporting Shooter is an all round good egg. Very knowledgeable on many subjects, great to chat to. My brother from another mother. :D

  8. You had me going then! I was about to start sending out emails to everyone! :D
  9. Who's pressing for that Mal? As for the section itself. I can only thank you guys for that. If you didn't post we wouldn't have a section! You truly have made this airgun forum the best around and I thank you for that.
  10. .25 for me... ... at the moment.
  11. Bet we can make it 3,000,000 by Christmas!
  12. Agree there Grim. All have their place but if you can't hit anything, with it, you may as well use the computer...
  13. I'd love to read a serious thread, on here, that doesn't deteriorate into a drunken slanging match... I live in hope but fear my dream will go unfulfilled. For the idiot that keeps PMing me. I'm being sarcastic, you fuckwit.
  14. That would be an understatement.
  15. All I can say, at this stage Mal, is that there is something in the pipeline.
  16. We can't. Simple as that. All these do gooders, that talk such shite, offer no answer or go as far as saying that humans need a round of mass starvation to cull the numbers. However they're usually the last to volunteer for such. Pest control is a fact of life. It's about competition for food. We protect our food yield by culling the number of animals that will take this food from us. It's been in existence since the beginning of modern agriculture and has cemented our position at the top of the food chain. Even if we ate nothing but vegetables we would still need to stop those that will e
  17. Bet my .25 Rapid shooters flatter than the sub 12 .177! Sorry folks... just trying to pre-empt the way these things go...
  18. No worries BRB, yeah I did miss it... Sometimes I can only get in once or twice a week and stuff just doesn't get read. Don't worry about warning fraud, only you can see it!
  19. I thought you of all people would get a kick out of that but I agree it's time to be removed. Are you sure you don't want 30% bragging rights?
  20. The environmentalists wet dream is the total ban on 4x4's. How far is the next step to cars? To further your point, on antis killing vermin. All of them have blood on their hands to some degree. The Food Safety Act 1990 outlines what is required of food producers, handlers, distributors and retailers, to ensure that what they're doing will not endanger the public. They have to take steps to make sure that food can not be spoiled or contaminated. For their protection the food producers, handlers, distributors, etc have a defence called "Due Diligence" meaning that they can demonstrate they'
  21. Sad isn't it. Not sure how many people know this but the Black Rat (Rattus rattus) is on the decline in the UK, some groups class it as threatened. It's population is now restricted to coastal/port areas mainly due to better control methods, better hygiene around ships and docks, and the more adaptable and aggressive Norway Rat (Rattus norvegicus). Back to the topic, there is an anti group in the UK that actually want to see this animal protected! Clearly bubonic plague is just a fairy tale for some.
