  1. No it's more, to do with being a little more subtle about what you do in your spare time. If you want to upset someone go right ahead!
  2. It's easier to gather evidence from the warmth of your kitchen table, via the screen, than it is to walk the fields on a cold January morning. Any surprise why digital offenses are happening more and more?
  3. The best strategy, for both of the scenarios you list, is to keep it to yourself. The irony of your last statement isn't lost on us though!
  4. Can't agree more. Back in the early days I had my mug up on one of the anti-sites. Took a lot of aggro getting it resolved. Douglas Adams wrote "Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so." Sums up this place pretty well I thought!
  5. Yeah! Too busy fiddling expenses... or worse...
  6. Too true, TC! Alas there won't be much in the way of change there. Luckily for them, though, our opponents aren't the sharpest either! Were any of you here when a journo, from The M*rror tried to infiltrate the snaring forum? It was very short lived, as the mods spotted the email address. They posted once and thought better of it after the, shall we say, negative feedback. Basically whenever there is a wildlife crime, we're at the top of the search engine because of the size of the database. Airgun, check. Snaring, check. Terrier, check... This is the first place that pops up whenever
  7. While I agree, and you could argue it was the attitude of the day, I'm more annoyed that it's taken this long to pardon them. It's 2016 FFS! Who would honestly be surprised if those that drafted those archaic laws, in the first place, weren't up to it themselves... or worse!
  8. Shame it was too late for the likes of Turing... Imagine what else could've been accomplished!
  9. This was back when The Hunting Act was first enforced. Both were presented with their dossier of posts from this, and another site. Both got slapped wrists, nothing more. One maintains to this day that he's under surveillance when probability goes with paranoia. Neither of them post here, anymore, but do read as guests! Like TC said above. This place is pretty much an open book. Our enemies do regularly check in to see how we're getting on. I certainly wouldn't worry about it unless you're sharing anything dodgy. After the initial enthusiasm of catching a hunter in every field, they found
  10. Not big brother but a few have been pulled in because of the contents of their posts... I know two personally, that don't post on here anymore because of it.
  11. Google blames it on Sunderland.
  12. I just typed "sunderland mussie bullshit nonsense" into Bing, and The Hunting Life came up 5th! Might be time to lay off the herbal cigarettes!
  13. The members list is 2257 pages long, at the last click. I'm sure some people read it offline but with those levels of hits I'm sure a lot of this sites pages turn up in Internet searches.
  14. Search engine webcrawler or the RSPCA or The Daily Mail looking for a scoop.
  15. Is it time for a whip round, for a few hundred boxes of Kness traps?
  16. That's the beautiful thing about evidence. It starts off small and then builds, and builds. Congratulations on your entry into the Top 10!
  17. Yep. Congratulations on your entry into the Top 20.
  18. What about them? Sure they count and in all my travels I've seen a much higher percentage of white wasters than black, or brown, ones. Ones that steal from their neighbours and destroy their own property. I can actually agree with some of what you're saying but the point from the start is that it's directly applicable despite race.
  19. Wouldn't that depend on the context? Anything can be evidence but for it to be solid it needs to be tested, reinforced, refined until it stands up to claim, and counter claim. That's incredibly simplified, I know, but what would your criteria be?
  20. Not entirely, no, but we have a pretty good model. We'll never know it all but like Alvin Toffler said "The illiterate of the 21st century won't be the people that can't read or write, but those that cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." Without evidence just how are we supposed to put the pieces together?
  21. I have, mate, yeah. I've actually been through Lovelock, while I was out working in Reno. Never been to the cave though. The problem with these stories is that no one has any actual evidence from it. Sure there are stories about finds but nothing has ever been preserved for any kind of study. I'm sure the conspiracy theorists with conclude that it's a cover up but absence of evidence is evidence of absence in my book. Check out the study from anthropologist Llewellyn L. Loud, he pulled more finds out of the area than anyone and never said anything about giants. A long time
  22. A lot of clowns getting reported in this part of the world... No one has actually seen one though. Even the plod responding. I think we're seeing an urban legend in the making, and while I'm sure they're happening I doubt it's too the extent that's being circulated on social media.
  23. I know, mate! Just having a pop! Saying that though, look at the Bush/Blair years... Never say never!
  24. I've read a fairly decent amount on the Nephilim since Francie, and I, got stuck into it a while back. The problem is there isn't any evidence they ever existed. Square cube law makes their existence highly improbable.
  25. Whoever gets elected in America. They're f****d. Consequently, so is Britain because your government does the bidding of it's Yankee masters!
