It does, it just rarely hits the highlight reel for global distribution. Policy doesn't make good telly. Obama/Romney was full of policy which is why Romney didn't turn up! Trump/Clinton looks like a reality TV episode. I sit and wonder what's really important that we're being distracted from. About a quarter. $8bn in tax money would be needed, and it won't work. I doubt that, I just have the time to read stuff. I live out in the middle of nowhere and my internet connection is spotty at best. When it's -20 outside and there's a couple of feet of snow there's not much else to do. I'm not a complete recluse and I know that race is more important to some, than others. When you break it down, though, it isn't. It's purely down to how far your ancestors lived from the equator!

No worries Walshie, if it came across as argumentative it wasn't intentional. BGD mentioned sickle cell having resistance to malaria. That I honestly don't know but sickle cell distribution, across the globe, does tie in with malaria hotspots. The dog analogy is a poor one. I don't have the vocabulary to break technical manuals down for the forum. Human beings are far more complex, genetically, than dogs. Modern dogs are products of selective breeding, whereas humans are products of natural selection in our respective environments.

Race is 100% down to the melanin levels in the skin. If you want to talk about cultural and ideological differences. Wax lyrical about what's wrong with the world, that's fair enough. Probably better in another thread though. But race is purely down to the melanin levels in the skin. This is how melanin is distributed geographically. As you can clearly see it's at it's densest by the equator and gets lighter the further you move away. I don't know how else to explain something so ridiculously simple as this.

Genetic variations within the species. Same way you're more likely to get skin cancer than someone of African descent. Evolution isn't perfect. It's not survival of the fittest it's survival of the most adaptable. It's the same concept as health conditions in dogs that you can see. Blindness in dalmatians, hip dysplasia in other breeds. Some are more susceptible than others but they're still dogs.
