  1. Not to worry, mate. UA are feeling the cost of upsetting the people that pay their bills. As we're all finding these days if you want to flex your muscles make sure there isn't someone there with a camera, filming you. UA went full Ronnie Pickering on this one. Both sides acted like cocks but I know which one will come off the worst!
  2. Both, mate. I'd step up and say it's a step in the right direction and they're pandering to do-gooders. Off topic, but I've yet to be able to sit through one of those undercover fur trade videos. Makes me sick to my stomach.
  3. Paying customers shouldn't get bumped for staff, period, but it looks like their stock is down 4% this morning alone. That could lead to $800m being wiped off the face of the company. So if you're flying UA in the near future expect to pay a 600% surcharge for your inflight sandwich. Sympathy level = Zero!
  4. You're thinking of the chow-meins? Either way there wouldn't have been any evidence...
  5. Aye true, but if her last name was Hossein they'd be a 600 page thread screaming to have them strung from a lamp post!
  6. The last time I flew I had an 11 hour flight, 4 hour lay over, then a 2 hour connection. The flight was delayed significantly so I was bumped for the next flight. When I got to the destination I had no hire car because they'd already leased it, and then had to get a cab to a hotel that had overbooked my room. I got another cab over to a car rental place that had 1 car left. I hired it and drove 2 hours to the next city where there was actually a hotel room available. Shit happens but when you pay two grand for the privilege of being f****d around by all of the industry you've retained your
  7. Are we seeing the first wave of the side effects of Trump nationalism?
  8. Shouldn't the Russians be concerned with how all of those Tomahawks managed to get through their missile defenses...
  9. Red Dawn was better than Threads...
  10. It's a sad day when 'thousands of images of child abuse' is a secondary headline in a tabloid....
  11. The fault is that these hospitality industries are constantly overbooking. They do it everywhere. You should see people's holiday's ruined when they get to their destination and they can't get a hire car because the companies like Hertz, Avis, and Budget keep taking orders for vehicles that don't exist. These people didn't even get that chance because they got pulled from their flight before they had the chance... I'm sure everyone here would be the model of decency when you get pulled off your flight, because the airline f****d up. Hopefully no c**t is there filming your reaction for the
  12. That's entirely possible as I'm only going off local and anecdotal engagements. The Trump supporters I deal with on a daily basis are more miffed that he bypassed congress than anything on a war footing. Despite the white christian demographic, where I live, they're very openly upset at seeing the pictures of little brown kids being gassed by what they see as a co-op by two nasty axis regimes. I can only go off what I've dealt with. Like I said above there are those sentiments but my neighbours wanted to see Washington turned on it's head and shaken until all the change fell out of it
  13. No point mentioning her, here, mate. She's nothing more than a has been. If they're looking forward, and they should be, they need to work towards a better America not the proliferation of billionaires.
  14. Depending on your demographic it's probably a flip of a coin. I think the biggest upset from his supporters is the fact he bypassed congressional approval. His detractors fear another lengthy engagement in the middle east. As I stated in an earlier post this has McMaster's no nonsense approach written all over it. With Bannon gone he's bringing military experts instead of political journalists... Another good move from team DT.
  15. True mate, they're more of a dress up as the natives, and slaughter them under a flag of surrender kinda group!
  16. Dirty b*****d... He's not been sentenced yet but that's enough to lock him up for life. Hopefully they will.
  17. I think losing Bannon might actually help him with easing the fears of the rest of the country! Joking aside though, I know you're a fan of Bannon, but his position was a surprise to everyone over here... Flynn's resignation was one of the best decisions made, so far, and his replacement one of the best decisions by the Trump adminstration. H.R McMaster, who replaced him, is by far the best man for the job. His experience in the middle east and his no f***ing nonsense approach to pretty much everything is exactly why he needs to be in this position. He calls it as it is and he won't kiss
  18. Kansas City, Missouri becomes the latest to loosen marijuana laws...
  19. She should be investigated and the public should be made aware if she leaked any information. Not sure how it clears DJT though...
  20. I know exactly what you meant, mate! Your agnostic Uncle Chris was just having a little fun at that posts expense!
  21. Absolutely. I've seen you post to that effect on several occasions. I'm not buying the underdog thing, though. The guy's entire existence has been about media manipulation. His election was a brick through the window, granted, but his behaviour since is totally politics. He's just not smart enough to hide it like all he predecessors did. Probably because he doesn't give a f**k. In the meantime though f**k education, healthcare, clean drinking water, environmental protection, right?
  22. That's pretty much every religious argument rolled up into one easy to digest statement there! I'll reuse that one! Thanks mate!
  23. I can't argue with that, mate. I said earlier in the thread that I don't want him to f**k it up. I really don't, but the guys entire persona is based around his narcissism... If he wants to succeed he has to look out for the people that voted for him.
  24. On the contrary, good sir, I'm quite fond of saying that you can tell a politician is lying because his lips are moving. I don't think anyone has suggested that any other president has been squeaky clean, the whole job is founded on backroom shenanigans going all the way back to the beginning. The difference is the scale, and old Don is THL's most popular president by far. When you put all your shit out there, like Don's doing, you're going to attract way more flies... I mean you started the thread! We'll just have to disagree on that one. History is indeed written by the winners
