I'm probably going to butcher the quote but it's something along the lines of "If You Don't Read The News, You're Uninformed. If You Do Read The News, You're Mis-Informed..." I do think it's important to get a cross-section from everywhere, and then formulate your own opinion but every single one of those opinions is going to come from whatever personal bias we hold. But that's politics. One thing I would like to see was the old internet message board 101 trope. Attack the opinion not the poster. Some of the vitriol posted against people is completely unnecessary, especially when the

I'll go in at the ground floor here, seen as it's now 2021 (Happy New Year to all, BTW) Taxation is extortion. Discuss! The bill was just under 5600 pages to my understanding. They were expected to read it and vote on it in just a few hours... this isn't an isolated incident either. I believe the Patriot Act was passed in a similar fashion and despite 20 years of time they still have bipartisan support for the unconstitutional measures against average Americans. I agree his disdain for the stimulus money was PR stunt. First time he's mentioned it. He's right but if he genuin

I didn't say that. I simply stated that the thought process behind this apparent Russian bias is because the Russians have something on him. I don't agree with that. The simplest explanation from where I'm sat is that if you stick a microphone under Don's nose he'll say anything to get attention. That's played out every single time in the last four years. In a rare stopped clock moment he's right on this one. A $600 stimulus cheque to every American is a f*ck*ng insult when the bill contains billions for pretty much everyone else except the people footing the tab for this b*llsh*t.

There's a lot of support over here for an Anglo American trade deal with or without Trump. A lot will hinge on the priorities from the outset. Covid has passed the 300,000 dead milestone and the average American is wondering just what the f*ck the establishment are doing with the money. They've been able to secure their own funding no problem but have been arguing for months over us, with record numbers of Americans now visiting food banks. Again the will for a trade deal is there but I don't think it would have pushed it to the front burner with everything else going on inside US borders

As fashionable as it is to bash Trump he hasn't allowed this hack. He isn't liable in that sense. However he's the only one in his own administration that isn't calling out the Russians on it, hence the thought progression as to what has the other THL favourite, Vlad, got on him? Joe is a disaster for America. He won mainly because he isn't Don. He won because he's as moderate a candidate as they could find in what has seen the Democrats go 'progressive' in the last few years. Despite the shit flinging on here I don't know anyone that is pro-Biden. The general consensus is that he's margi

Mike Pompeo said it was the Russians and the White House have blocked the official statement. Don has played it down... ... and with his track record that's very reassuring!
-
He's the only man in his entire administration that's playing this down. I'm curious as to the why, also.

I'm waiting for that thread to start in January. There's already a huge list of talking points whenever anyone is interested.

From what you've posted earlier on this topic, I'm in agreement. My hesitancy comes from the speed in which it's been rolled out. Just trying to wrap my head around best and worse case scenarios and what's the best outcome. On a slight variance I've managed to convince a couple of lads to wear masks. Not because of the virus but because we're all privacy advocates and wearing one defeats surveillance technology... The search for the truth continues!

I understand the hesitancy with this jab. I really do, but I do kinda have a smile when the chemicals argument comes into play, from a bloke holding a vape pen in one hand and a can of energy drink in the other. I bet he couldn't pronounce the ingredients, even if he could find them.
-
The man has fabricated an entire reality. That is impressive!
-
Do you think that if they released the jab in vape form we'd have so much resistance to it?
-
If you get the chance to watch it I recommend 'Neither Wolf Nor Dog' starring the late Dave Bald Eagle. It was on limited release, over here, but I watched it with a couple of my Paiute mates. I reckon you'd like that one!
-
Nope, but thanks for clarifying.
-
I'll take that as a no comment!

Did he lose? Or was it stolen? What's your answer?

Here's some data points that are fully searchable in the public domain. The electoral college vote tomorrow (Monday 14th December) Don is currently set to lose the electoral college with 232 electoral votes, to Joe's 306. Don is currently set to lose the national popular vote with 74million votes, to Joe's 81million. Don still has the highest number of votes ever recorded for an incumbent president. Don has lost two recounts in the state of Georgia. The original votes, plus two recounts have not changed the result in the state of Georgia. Don has lost a recount

Did Don fail his performance review? Or did hundreds of thousands of malevolent actors, up to and including the supreme court of the United States, conspire against him to deny him a second term? A historic turn out provided the most comprehensive opinion poll we've seen in 4 years. Is it fake news or did Don fail to deliver?
-
Heat. 25th anniversary and all that. Still one of the best.
-
Conspiracy then?
-
Speak for yerself!
-
Let's have it right. Pretty much everyone besides Trump himself has called bullshit on the fraud. Right the way up to SCOTUS. At what point do you look at your alternative facts and wonder whether you might have backed the wrong horse? Are we looking at a conspiracy involving hundreds of thousands of malevolent actors? Or did he simply fail his performance appraisal?
-
@Arry Notice how the quotes dry up at the beginning of November? That's because he's spent the time playing golf and lying about the election result! What a guy!
-
Agreed. One of the biggest criticisms of his SCOTUS appointments is the allegation of quid pro quo. The fundamental misunderstanding with SCOTUS is that they're obligated to return that favour. They're appointed for life and have no obligation to play partisan games, which is further demonstrating that team Trump aren't the legal masterminds that some are suggesting. SCOTUS generally rule on cases involving violations of the Constitution, statutory law, and litigation between states. In this case it was Texas Vs the swing states on their handling of the election and alleged constitut

From what I've seen of this, Arry, he's fulfilled his legal obligation in both countries. I'm not too familiar with Chinese tax codes but I'd imagine whatever he's paid there is the price of doing his business. The same as in the US. I'm sure Chinese communism heavily penalizes foreign and domestic investors but that's the price of making money in a lucrative market. The amount he paid in the US just shows how hiring a tax expert can significantly lower your tax burden. The fact he paid less than your average American shows how it's set up. I honestly don't begrudge anyone that is able to
