  17. my ferrets are not out and out workers as they can have there bad days.truthfully they are not worked that often so i cant moan.sounds as though your ferret is doing ok for its first outing emerging from another hole says hes searching the warren,a ferrets a ferret it will do what comes natural so keep with him.i think my poley is blind or dosy as she runs into everything in front of her lol but this doesnt affect her hunting. good hunting rew

  21. decided to take the lurcher and ferrets out as the weather was perfect.i left the nets at home and let the dog chase any bolters.the first warren there was a nice mark by bram so in went the albino jill, minutes later bram flew straight into the hole grasping a nice healthy rabbit in her dentches.of to the next warren, there was no mark but i insisted on ferreting it as there were fresh diggins but i should of trusted the dog as after entering the ferrets they soon emerged.the next warren was on a steepish bank both of the ferrets were entered and another coney bolted with bramble close behind b

  23. well said mole trapper and chaz,i have also a hancock bred shes not the best but i get alot of sport out of her.she could be alot better (im talking about obediance wise) if she wasnt such a nervous puppy but as a worker shes a great rabbiter but would make a better grade if we had more game to run her at. good hunting rew
  24. nice dog robinmcleod2 my dog was the same so she was very hard to train.she is alot better now and loves humans but dogs there a no go.saying that take her out with another dog for a few days and shes fine with that certain dog but strange dogs she goes back to being nervous,i have heard a few people having the same problem with hancocks dogs its down to him breeding to many IMOA and not being able to socialise with them which they need in them early weeks of there life.but saying this if i was going for another collie cross hes the man i would go to as you ruffley know what you are getting an
