    went to have a look at some pups a few days ago as i have been after one for some time.gemini of the hunting life informed me that she had a litter so we arranged a day to have a look at them.when i got there i was impressed with the way gemini keeps her dogs extremely clean and well looked after, a credit to her and her partner.i have took some pics of the dam,sire and pups .the dam is a whippet x greyhound 24 inches and the sire is 1/2 greyhound 1/4 whippet 1/8 deerhound 1/8 collie 26 inches. it was very difficult to pick a pup as one looked like my dads old bitch and there was also a a fa

    they are two cracking lookers breeze a credit to you mate.what height are they and do they take everything,they look like thy could be useful on the rabbits.they look surprisingly racey for nearly half crosses. :thumbs-up: good hunting rew

    sounds like you had a good morning frank how many rabbits as she had upto now. will you be keeping a record of what she catches and how many.

    the handle as been routed out so the wire can sit flush with the handle and the switch as been housed into the wood aswell then the whole thing is covered with electrical tape so all you can see is the switch.the switch is of an old lamp shade.we have fixed the two peices of wood together using a nut and bolt as you can see in the pic below.the wood we have used for the handle and cross peice is 34mm x 34mm planed timber with the corners rounded . <!--ImageUrlBegin--><!--ImageUrlEBegin--><!--ImageUrlEnd--><!--ImageUrlEEnd--> <!--ImageUrlBegin--><!--ImageUr

    the first pics are from when we last went lamping,it was last tuesday and eventhough the weather wasnt any good we wanted to try out our new lamping setup.we wasnt expecting to stay out long but things never go to plan as we didnt get back in till 3.30. we had about seven or eight runs and bramble nailed four of them.she retrieved three of them pretty good and we were chuffed.anyway we had some ok footage so shall get that up soon and the lurcher done the buisness.all in all a good way to finnish of lamping for a few months. the next pics are from today at selby i

    im after a black eyed white to breed with my jills as it will be there last time to be bred from.they are nearly seven this year and i have only ever bred them twice about four year ago.and as i havent ever had a black eyed white i would like to keep two jills back from the mating. good hunting rew

    haven't been out lamping since bramble cut her toe a few weeks ago. it has healed well so we decided to go out lamping.we wanted to go in the week but there was alot of mist and no wind so instead my dad decided to fix his old lamp putting a new switch and handle on it. tonight seemed ok so the lazorlite was left at home and out came the old home made lamp.the first two runs ended in nothing with the rabbits just running through the hedges at full speed but we spotted a squatter and got in between it and the hedge cutting of its run,the old lamp seemed to be keeping the rabbit seated ,bramble
