  3. would you have a 12yrd stop net on end pins or just tie on long net poles.the reason i ask is because im gonna make a stop net before imake anything bigger.i was looking at an long net i brought last summer and the drawcord was threaded through two lines is this a double salvage.im a novice to lang net and i have had to learn the hard way by reading things on here. would like to something like this. so how do i do it? cheers rew
  4. i just use a plastic toolbox much cheaper and they are very light weight but having a dark colour like black is a bad idea as it can get very hot when in the sun. good hunting rew

  9. 30 4ft hemp rabbit purse nets knitted onto 1inch rings and have 2mm white braid drawcord £2.50 each 13 3ft hemp purse nets £1. each spun nylon purse nets £2.60 each five 10z twisted nylon 5ft fox nets £5.00 each 12 heavy spun nylon 5ft fox nets £5.00 each all rabbit purse nets are knitted onto 1inch rings and and 2mm white braid drawcord fox nets are knitted onto 2 and 1.5 inch rings and 2mm white braid drawcor pm me if your interested good hunting rew
  10. spot on a 4 1/4 full mesh makes it alot easier to dispatch the bunnies in them.i also use a 3 inch mesh board for fox nets. good hunting rew
  11. thanks for th pics duckwing were did you get your brake pipe from and how much i will probabley make something like that.just like tomo said the only advantage of using sliders is that they are very cheap to make.i wouldnt say there was much differance in the speed of pursing of the net out of wire runners and rings.i see were poke nets can be handy on the bigger size holes but i normaly just set two nets over the same hole and have had good results doing this. and the pursing action is halfed but rings can do the same job just as good, and on the smaller holes it takes that little bit longer

  18. hi mate thats last weeks cmw.was surprised when my sister brought home the cmw so early in the week.i am after a pup as young as possible so i can do all the training myself at an early age.thanks for the help mate rew

  20. just had a look in this weeks countrymans and theres some whippet greyhound x whippet greyhound pups up north east for sale so just wondering if anyone know much about them.iam still after a lurcher to lurcher bred , i like the sound of deerhound greyhound x collie greyhounds,these seem to be good takers of all game from what i have read.anyone thinking of breeding such litter in the near future. good hunting rew

  24. nice dog mate my bitch knocked her toe up quite bad last year when we were out mooching and she had a little run on a rabbit but put her foot down a hole.she had problems with it for a few months but now it has healed.i suppose you will have all summer for it to heal so good luck for the next season. good hunting rew
