heres a few pics from when i have been mooching or just walking the dog. the first few are from my local hunting grounds and the others are when me and my dad just went for a walk down the canal. found this looks like it dates back to the stone ages do you think there would of been hare coursing back then. last pic was from lamping last night.1st run 1st catch and then she went onto run 4 or 5 more but not catching them but then we noticed she had knocked her toe and there was a little bleeding but now holding it so we called it a night.woke up this mo

been having the same problem with the collar strap coming of.i got the mrk3 finder box and two collars from ian hodge out of the countrymans weekly but one of the collars was a terrier collar so we had to cut the strap down but the actual buckle comes out sometimes on its own accord which loosens the collar and it comes of.has anyone else had this problem and do you think i will be able to send it back to debens for a new strap.the buckle on the terrier collar is different to the ferret collar. good hunting rew

grey squirral hunting is great sport and keeps you free from bordem during the summer.bramble had alot of sport a few weeks back it was very enjoyable watching her hunt up but she did take a little bite from one but nothing really bad, thats a good catch on coney catcher 3 when speckle takes one in the tree. good hunting rew

i prefere the bigger nets e.g 4ft eventhough they can snag sometimes and are a hassle setting in places were theres alot of cover so i keep a couple of 3ft nets spare ..this season i have just used hemp nets which i have made and i havent lost a rabbit in one yet.i have recently knitted some spun nylon nets and there very nice to handle, lightweight and the spun nylon is very nice to knitt with and makes a tidy net.was thinking of using a 2 1/4 inch mesh stick to make a 4 1/2 full mesh to make it easier to dispatch the rabbits in the nets do you fink this will be ok or shall i have 4 1/4 full m

sorry rew, but thought i'd hop in & reply to this one. jills NEED to be mated to bring them out of season. the only other alternative is hormone shots from the vet, which don't always work. if you don't want kits, try to find someone with a vasectomised hob. doesn't matter if the hob is fertile or not, as long as the jills get mated. if they are not brought out of season by the methods above, it's not very pleasant! their vulvas stay enlarged, making it very easy for infections to get into the womb, which leads to blood poisoning, and eventually death. option 4, if you never intend

i hope it does die out what a horrible disease, its sad as this rabbit was in good condition except the obviouse i bet it would of gave her a good run if it could see.but saying that there perfect to start of a young pup and they might even give bramble more confidance in taking squatters. thanks for the replies good hunting rew
