  2. deepest for me is about 3ft with a stick.me and the father never took a spade really because were poaching most the time and we didnt want people thinking where after badgers or something.but after we dug that 3ft with the stick we certainly learnt our lesson and always take a small spade just incase. good hunting rew

  6. lovely pup mate.i have just looked back on some of your earlier threads of lady and she was 8 weeks old on the 27th march which makes her 24 weeks old (5 1/2 months) now .anyway she's a stunner good luck with her i will enjoy reading your future posts. good hunting rew

  12. thanks mole catcher thats all i needed .cheers would you use metal anchor pins for a stop net or would you use something else,now hows the best way to tie both bottom and top lines onto the anchor pins?also would you say two 50yrd longnets will be good for a novice ,any advice before i go spending my dads money.lol good hunting rew
  13. i am making a couple traditional 12yrd stop nets for the coming season but im just wondering how long i should make the top and bottom lines.im also considering getting a couple long nets to use whilst ferreting and at night ,i thought about getting two 6z , 50yrd long quick set system already rigged up on fiber glass poles ready to use .do you think this would be an alright setup for a beginner,also gypo joe has gave me a decant price. good hunting rew

  19. nice one frank your bitch did well ,what age will you be starting the pup .im going to stay way clear from them lightforce,from what i have heard is there nothing but problems i'll stick with the cluelite had ours for about 12 years and had no problems with it yet.it looks like summer on its way as the ground is getting hard again round my way. good hunting rew
  20. fly and fern are 16 weeks today and are standing at 19"tts .they are being fed raw tripe and raw chicken mince combined with fruit and veg (apple ,brocoli,carrot,tomatoes) aswell as science plan as a snack through out the day.we wormed then again today with milbemax as it has been 4 weeks since we last wormed them.We get them out about 4 times a week for 1 or 2 hours a time lettng them have a run about to stop them from getting bored . we are also practicing there recall using food as a reward.Ferns (fawn bitch) recall is far better than flys because she prefers to stay with my dad wer

  22. lol @ nelson tell me about it hob&jill.the reason i did get the hunter wellies is because i brought a cheaper pair of wellies before for £20 and only lasted a couple of months before i ditched them ,they cracked in about 3 weeks so i had to wear plastic bags to prevent my feet from getting wet.but my cousine brought some £13 ones a few weeks back and they seem to be a little better and are not showing any signs of wear yet and we walk alot but he says there starting to give him blisters so just like what hob&jill says "you get what you pay for".thanks again everyone.does anyone kno

  24. i have 50 4ft purse nets for sale.these are made from navarra spun nylon,they are a light coloured blue and are stitched onto 1inch rings and are threaded with 2mm nylon braid.these were knitted for someone of here but i havent been able to contact him so they are now for sale.these are a joy and work with and handle so im looking for £130 for all fifty and £10 p&p or im willing to sell them in tens for £26 and i'll have to see howmuch p&p will cost.if anyones interested just send me a PM.cheers heres a few pics good hunting rew
