of course lol i forgot what day it was then.might see you Thursday then. Fly's nail beds are starting to get a little sore,i notice soil is going underneath the skin is there anyway of preventing this.Im bathing them after every night and giving them a good scrub with the nail brush.can anyone help .cheers good hunting rew

yes i did mate but thankfully i have ditched that other carrier and im now using an army rucksack ,its far better.You still thinking about going for a walk tomorrow.all the best good hunting rew

thanks for the replies everyone they have done mate ,we couldn't be anymore pleased than we are.my dad had fern out two nights ago aswell and had 7 rabbits with her.i cant wait to see what fern can do daytime.w.h i bet hes had a good time , he'll be wanting a lurcher soon lol.i will try and get down some time .i saw a black rabbit last night aswell,same place i saw one in the morning,i need a good windy night and i think i shall have him lol.hows yours dogs anyway mate?pm me if you want. all the best good hunting rew

As i did not get out yesterday morning i decided to have a look around the local fields ,well there a good 40 minute walk away.Well when i reached my lamping ground i decided to keep my back to the railway and lamp out into the field keeping between the rabbits and the warrens on the railway bank.we accounted for two rabbits and two hares of here,one of which was sadley a leveret and fly failed to retrieve another hare further along.We then crossed the railway and lamped some smaller paddocks and some stubble fields,fly retrieved another hare from one of the stubble fields and another two bunn

good write up tomo thanks ever so much again ,i really enjoyed my night and i was and still am over the moon with fly.both dogs did great not missing much at all having somelong slips on coney but 50 each could have been deffinatley on the cards as i feel we hadnt really pushed them.well done fieldmarshall and nobby ,decent result there to say you wasnt out long,nice meeting you anyway probabley see you very soon .thanks for the replys everyone ,yes flys pretty much whippet x grey with 1/16 collie 1/16 deerhound cheers tomo.aup frank long time no speak.thanks again TOMO it was a brill night

yes mate deffinatley well i have had my bitch out everyday now had her running through some big pounds yesterday morning ,not deep enough for her to swim but at shoulder height ,i did about 30 retrieves through that and about twenty retrieves on land.incresed her food aswell now .had her out last night on th lamp,my mate had 10 mins spear so we drove to a football field and bagged a bunny of there with her 1 out of 1 .lol you getting scared yet .it should be a really tight match.all the best rew

£20 is not bad but could be abit pricey after abit ,cant you take of the flotation jacket .i know what your thinking LDR "is there aything that dog cant do" lol not really.keep it up mate . good hunting rew

@ scouser .check LDR ,well you cant beat abit of hydrotherapy i had actually planned to do some in a few days time with my bitch. how much that cost LDR doesnt he swim in lakes or rivers.heres my bitch.. jaws good hunting rew

at LDR erm i think music can kill it sometimes ,i like to here the dogs running through the grass and the odd rabbit sqeal.but some music isnt to bad.i'll get writing some lyrics . good hunting rew

firstly a big thankyou to tomo for his time ,taking me on his permision and for giving young fly and myself some good experiance.i was very pleased with fly she ran well and done me proud.it was great to watch tara doing the business ,shes some dog deffinatley a contender for the title imo.thanks again tomo your a star.here some pics of the haul my shoulders are killing but well worth it could anyone lighten the pics up ,would be greatfull.all the best good hunting rew
