good write up once again and thanks for the invite tomo i had another good night .i couldnt believe how cold it was ,the rain fealt like hail hitting my face and my tabs had frozen .i was deffinatley missing my woolly hat.we didnt do to well with the longnets but dogs accounted for plenty of rabbits i know fly only missed 3 or 4 and caught 17 which was a cracking score ,tara missing very few aswell. i was knackered by the end of the night after all the walking and carrying my 17 rabbits to a drop off point ,didnt help getting up at 6am to go ferreting the morning before though which was

i agree with tomo but imo a smaller lamp would also be my prefered lamp which can fit nicely into your coat like the lazerlite and be made of simular material,dont like the twang you get from the lightforce when it just taps your zip. rew

ok witton i will see you around 10 ish then mate and im bringing just fly .i dont think we'll be starting early ,probabley round 10 ish but its no good for the dogs .we can always have another days ferreting possibley at the weekend aswell as abit of ferreting your way if you know any good spots. good hunting rew

i will certainly do so frank ,just look out for threads from myself ,world.hunters,nottzhunter08 or even witton .we shall be getting out together like old times and will be taking as much quarry we can possibly find.we have planned to be out tonight ,just for the crack as w.h and his bro will be arriving about 5ish today so dogs could do with a stretch after the train journey . thank you frost .all the best good hunting rew

No mate we brought these pups of gemini of this site at six and seven weeks of age ,they will be two on march 20th. well with the long lay off with the bad weather we had ,and me having trouble with my back both me and dad havent been out at all for the last month or so. the contents of the freezer were running low down to the last 6 rabbits and so needed to be replenished. my dad nipped out for an hour friday night with fern and caught 6 bunnys,fern was running very well dispite her month long lay off ,but an hour was enough for young fern as she isnt at full fitness. Even though its only been a week an half after my op the urge to go lamping was to much ,i just needed to get out with fly.to save

having seen ldr dog bruce in action he is more than capable of winning this comp. nothing against the other lads but seeing as his dog bruce beat my bitch fly i hope he gets to the final and wins .hope all the dogs remaining in stay injury free good hunting rew

there fine mate ,not very fit atm but the weather not been to good and im having trouble getting out walking myself.went out last night with my uncle mainly looking for charley but not one allnight but thats how it goes .last field we went on i spotted a hare ,slipped fly she put in a good course and picked it up 100yrds away ,my uncle at this point had slipped his two dogs (wheaton crosses)on another hare ,fly had spotted this hare beeing chased and joined in the course whilst carrying her own hare she had just caught.she finally drops her hare and now was tailing her new target through a hed

nice write up snoop ,some good hunting ground you got and looks like theres a few dodgey obstacles aswell.them hounds of yours are looking in good shape.that young dog is a handsome animal and from your last thread seems to be doing very well flushing them big rabbits for you.all the best good hunting rew

Been ferreting last two days ,had 13 yesterday but lost my ferret and collar,went again today to try and find the ferret still no sign of her but we had another 7 rabbits just bolting them for the dogs.out of the twenty there were 5 young rabbits so there breeding early again this year.both fly and fern are a pleasure to watch work around the warrens ,we can keep them either side of the hedge.we had a couple of digs aswell but thats ferreting anyway the land owner should be pleased as his crops were getting hammered.sorry no pics as the camera is on the blink good hunting rew

sounds like the dog done very well ,4 hares deffinatley isnt easy for alot of dogs never mind one with only two toes i know my bitch would struggle to bag that many in a day and at this time of the year.whats her breeding?nice looking bitch. good hunting rew

for deffinate mate ,we'll probabley have to wait for the weekend so i can get nottzhunter out again with us as we have got 5 ferrets between us.but still might give it a go again with my 3 ferrets when dads free next but we still need to have a crack at our other permission as hes saw an increase in bunnys attacking his rape.theres plenty to do just need to get myself right again. good hunting rew
