  1. The lamp you see in the video is a lightforce lancer and the one im using for the camera is a lightforce striker. You need the light to get the footage we achieved.
  2. because I told you about them lol what about the warren in the new ferreting video I posted. Not far from you either .
  3. I need a bloody car again before the seasons done. Not a bad number to finish on. well done
  4. Im going to pass these comments on to nottzhunter but he knows the score with entering early. I wont encourage anyone to rush their dog either . He is eager I know that but he brought on his retired dog the same around the same age on the same fields. These rabbits in the film are the easiest you will find around here. I hope he hasn't created a problem for the future and it will be interesting to see how she progresses , im not sure it his fault but as a viewer you can only put the two together. btw if you haven't already saw my new ferreting video then check it out aswell. h
  5. Nice one guys its a lovely little place to ferret, the ferrets are brilliant despite the one that went a bit jumpy and bit my finger. I think we should call her charley lol
  6. Thanks for watching guys, my cousin has possibly rushed into things but this dog has had a lot of success despite missing alot. Keep watching to see if the yipping is a cause for concern and im sure he will putting all his time into this dog . I have worked two dogs in 10 years , the first never caught a rabbit until she was 2. She missed lots of rabbits before and after and never yipped. The second dog fly , shes 7 now and she has caught a lot of rabbits over the years and would yapp despite her early success. She is predominantly whippet x grey The bitch in the video is whippetxcolli
  7. This film follows the progress of lass the lurcher who starts lamping at 7month old. It will be the first part of many more I hope. http://youtu.be/F4jvA_7rx9M take a look and leave a comment plus subscribe Andy

  9. Thanks guys your thoughts will be taken into account when I begin filming new videos for 2014. The ssc are not very self sufficient I know but this year im hoping to learn more about what we can forage and eat and how to cook it. Thanks for watching my videos I put a lot of time into them and its very difficult to reach the standard we watch on tv but im trying my hardest to match those standards. Soon I will be changing the channel because the old one is a little confusing with all the different names.
  10. Its just a cheapish video camera made by cannon though and films in HD.
  11. Not Polish btw just beating them to it. not be eating owt under a pound again and the perch were tasty.
  12. Leegreen , I could do without the smoking sometimes, im surprised I can be bothered to film it all never mind bike mile aswell. Something to look back on ay. we was meant to be using a phone with GPS map but nottzhunter of here didn't come in the end, the let down. thanks for watching
  13. Working on a lamping one mate following my cousin bringing on his young lurcher. Got a few ferreting ones to work on aswell so plenty more to come. Peddling for the pot will restart in spring. thanks for watching mate appreciate your comment.
  14. Anyone noticed a increase in people hunting and is this why the numbers are on the low?
  15. Rew . . . The older bitch (greyer muzzle) usally let's her daughter carry it back Brilliant mate. What breeding was the sire?
  16. Well done breeze not a lot escapes two steady lurchers. Hows the retrieve if they catch a rabbit between them?
  17. Good result guys, I was out ferreting near the river two days ago with Nottzhunter. That bloke came over with his black whippet x greyhound again and he told me he chucked a couple blokes of with lunatic lurchers and a border lol and then we see's a group of five lads with two lurchers, two terriers and a black lab ferreting further onwards complaining we were on their permission. I don't know why the hell they need so many dogs. Then the land owners confronts us blowing his trumpet, so I have to tell him to calm his swearing as I had already apologised. So our day ended eventful but happy wit
  18. Cracking photo of the merle dog in his stride and brilliant videos but why was you running the dogs with coats on?

  23. Thanks for the replies guys, I hands and knees did get slightly nettled but didn't feel it until I got home in the bath. I will be putting in the miles on my bike this season, and keep you guys up to date with all trips. Willing to meet anybody within 20miles of Nottingham city centre, I am the self sufficient cyclist after all. btw I apologise for any spelling mistakes and bad punctuation, I am using a crappy bb bold mobile and its small buttons and screen make it hard to write anything. good hunting Rew
