No you make some fair points about Keown i just dont think he had the speed,intelligence,agility or ability of the Terrys and Ferdinands.....but for sure he would out muscle,and probably frighten the life out of them

Thats your opinion and your entitled to it.....without doubt he must have been a pain in the arse to play against,but he wasnt a footballer just merely a stopper.....id even put David O Leary above Keown and he certainly wouldnt stand a chance in an Arsenal team today.....he was nowhere near the complete player the likes of Terry,Ferdinand,Vidic are....and no real threat up the other end like todays centre halfs are. Only saw the fight earlier today,Hattons a solid fighter but doesnt have that little something extra that sets world champions apart.Too one paced and not enough strings to his bow.....Alvarez just had that spark of extra talent and crispness of punch and reactions. Its a shame for Hatton but thats the dangers of riding on a name,you end up out of your depth....with that in mind he did ok and wasnt embarrassed and showed good willingness and desire to win so fair play to him.

Wow thats a tough question......off the top of my nut id go with Schmeichel Neville,Adams,Terry...Dicks Beckham,Keane,Scoles,Gerrard Ronaldo,Giggs subs Henry,Drogba,Bergkamp,Cole,Shearer....not sure how i could chuck these on the bench but with only 2 strikers........tough question....

For a film with such poor acting it was certainly a great little film....must admit i could never understand what they was on about half the time but its still the sort of film that at some stage rings a bell with most normal everyday men.....i wonder if they realised at the time people would still be talking about it and hold it in such high regard all these years later.

Thats the thing Jasp yous are blinded by your own success....plenty clubs have had periods of success but they are not hated for it....Arsenal dominated the 30,s,Spurs early 60,s,Liverpool 70,s/80,s etc......the only fans who hate them clubs are their rival clubs.....yet everyone seems to hate Man Utd......and like i say,not for the reason their fans think. Its like when us Hammers bang on about winning the world cup,we say it somewhat tongue in cheek....but you Utd fans,your serious...... All that said,i still believe Ryan Giggs is the greatest player the premiership has ever seen

No i dont buy that....people dont dislike the club because they are good they dislike the clubs supporters....and their attitudes because they are good..... Personally,i dont think your club is so good that they can play badly and win the premiership....if Barcelona couldnt do it Man Utd definately couldnt......i just think some fans are blinded by their own success.

In my experience,dogs that need their owner to advertise them to strangers.....are usually not up to standard anyway.....if a dog cant be sold through word of mouth/reputation and needs advertising.....then leave it alone.

It was a nasty tackle alright,but i thought Nani was f****n hilarious the way he chased the ref around trying to show him his leg before realising that collapsing on the ground and crying in agony makes much more sense As a neutral i thought it was a great game and Liverpool dominated in every department,Utd didnt look nowhere near as up for it,Suarez looks like he,s going to do some damage in this league.....good result alround,lets Arsenal in but they will come unstuck again like they did yesterday and drop silly points......anyway,never mind that,come on you Irons

Think Jimmy Mcdonell might believe otherwise ....wee Barry was great when things were going his way....but he lost composure and technique whenever his back was against the wall...wouldnt question his heart but certainly panicked whenever under severe pressure......his skin colour and nationality had a lot to do with his success and popularity in America.Great fights with Pedroza and Cabrerra though.

Ince only got stick because of the way he went....if we classed all the players that leave us for bigger clubs as a judas we would be a very hateful bunch !....we understand here that we have been a breeding ground for top players going to big clubs....Ince was from the area and would be welcomed back here that i know for a fact.
