    Opposite for me.....did it a lot with the mutts but as of yet not with birds............i guess with these sort of birds its not like they are bred with performance in mind so selectivity is probably not as important in terms of losing hybrid vigour etc........i noticed today a little Gloster hen i have is nest building in the aviary with her son from last year so maybe i,ll be finding out for myself pretty soon.

    Very interesting...i did wonder the effect of inbreeding in birds...............i remember in dogs the old saying was " inbreeding doubles your qualities and trebles your junk " selectivity being the key. But as regards my birds breeding in the aviary im not too concerned as i wont be keeping many anyway......ive conceded its a lesson learned too late this time round.

    Before the days of fancy technology i used to bank on walking 1800 steps to 1 mile at a good pace which took around 15 minutes = 4mph........that was roadwork though which is obviously easier...........obssessed as i was if a dog needed 4 miles i would actually count out 7200 steps in my head ....what id of done for a pedometer all those years ago .................Handy little link that

    And theres your problem.......3 or 4 divisions and only 2 clubs thats never going to work now is it !...............Without fans theres no sport and without sport theres no money...................England has the highest attendances in the world it stands to reason its going to be the richest league in the world thats only fair. Yeah and London has bigger population than whole of Scotland. Its nothing to do with the fan base and how much money is generated through fans.     Totally agree......gameness would be the absolute worst trait a wild animal could possibly possess........far as im aware only 3 animals in the world have a natural gameness thats the Pit Bull,Rooster and Dove ( yes the symbol of peace )...........wild animals if you leave the gate open they will run away for self preservation..........which is the exact 100% opposite to the meaning of gameness.     Not a bull breed man myself but i have wondered in the past if (and i know there bred for different tasks)a pit bull or other bully type would still go to his work with such vigour if he did have to enter the dark,dig through a ever narrowing tube and then like you say meet a larger stronger foe in the foes back yard?.I have to say maybe not and i agree a working terrier's job is one of the hardest in the canine world.     I always fancied Khan to cause Mayweather problems if they ever fought...not beat him but cause him problems......on watching both their fights last night i dont think Khan would even do that now he,s moved so far away from what got him to where he was,i think Mayweather would work him out inside 6 rounds.

    They Have A Great Fan Base Especially Dortmund But As For A Football Spectacle Throughout There League They Don't Come Close To Rivalling The EPL . Im not so sure mate its not just the top league but right through their divisions.....similar to here i guess.....i suppose it depends whats meant by the word " best "....best for fans ? best technically ? best supported ? most competetive ?
