Little bit lumped up but still smiling.... Retiring seems the last thing on his mind at the moment he,s on his trainers earhole to get back in the gym and Hearns earhole for another title shot........think theres some stern words ahead......sadly a fighter is often the last person to hear them.

Go for it mate....theres loads of pics of my aviary on here i did a kind of progressive build thing on here as some of the lads were helping with advice etc......maybe you could do the same be interesting to see Ive got the book somewhere mate but never read it cover to cover.....i agree they are fascinating to watch ive even set up a little video camera to watch them before. Walking up to my aviary earlier a couple of birds caught my eye flapping around in a tree close by......on closer inspection my heart sank when i saw they were Goldfinches as i thought my own birds had somehow escaped.....but mine were in place and i realised these two wild ones were probably flirting with my own birds as after a few years now of trying to attract wild Goldies onto my garden feeders ive never seen one until today.. Probably a bit of a boring meaningless story for some of yous but a good little experience for me so thought id share it with the group

I just dont think Khan has ever had the power to stop higher class opponents in their tracks and ends up having to work the clock down with elusive speed of hand and foot.......nothing wrong with that of course every fighter has their good and bad points and Khan has had a brilliant career all things considered. I agree im not sure he actually deserves a Mayweather fight but thats the way the game is these days.....look how many title shots our British lads are getting of late,do they all deserve them,probably not.

The thing i find so arrogant about these lads on here with a Tyson Fury infatuation is if they was to ever sit down with him and actually have a conversation ( which they obviously never have done ) he would more than likely tell them the truth......which is that he has already sparred with Joshua when Joshua was still in the amateurs and come off second best......now while sparring is not fighting you at least get a feel for an opponent.......and an opponent who is improving as quickly as Josh is improving...that can and does play on a fighters mind down the line. Absolutely.....its different for all fighters but i think when you see it you cant ignore it and i see it with Kevin even before this fight........i can only speak for fighters ive known but i remember seeing the same with locals like Mark Kaylor,Jimmy Batten etc not particularly hard careers but everyone has their tolerance level......to see and listen to them now is so sad.

He,s always been a scrappy kid Gaz he,s had his wars out of the ring as well as in it and they all take something out of you.......theres probably some good domestic dust ups out there for him with the likes of Crolla or Luke Campbell.........but id hate to see him push his luck physically.

The reason you dont get pro fighters or ex pros on internet boxing forums is because a,they are easy targets to get pounced on by idiots......and b,the majority of people who go on them have never been near let alone in a boxing ring Cushty i asked you a question before the fight which you refused to answer......i,ll ask you the same one after the fight.....what is it you see in Joshuas game that makes you not rate him ?

The most exciting thing about big Josh for me is nothing to do with his physical power.....its his attitude and desire,the boy soaks up information like a sponge Tony Simms says he is a dream to train......he has tremendous athletic intelligence which is rare amongst heavyweights........the fact he is improving with every fight indicates that he is being moved along at the right pace,the matchmaking is good......and most importantly the kid is learning from everything he does.......everybody who is anybody within the sport feels he,s an exciting prospect......why anyone outside the sport or th

To say he isnt English isnt an insult though is it? i've known very good honourable people of different nationalities and races,that doesnt make them English either. Not at all its up to an individual what they see these days we,ve become such a mish mash bunch........i just dont really see whats it got to do with sport.
