Im constantly chopping and changing mate i cant remember the one i put on here now i had one at the gym it might of been that one and i sold the gym so that went but yes still the same one at home i went a bit overly futuristic with it though its all singing all dancing so dont have to do much everythings on timers it even changes 75% of its own water every 48 hours so very little upkeep for what it is....same as you i dont think i could put the time into a " normal " tank set up these days.

Not for me mate the very occasional time i,ll eat Chinese i keep it simple.....as a younger man for a few years i worked round the corner in Leicester Square of an evening and would walk through Chinatown to get to my motor in the early hours and see the devastation they would leave.....very unclean in their habits it was then i decided to give their grub a wide berth ?

Chinese New Year coming up thats the only time i venture through Chinatown for grub these days i think thats when they cook the extra special rats.....and the costumes/drum banging caper is entertaining but then im lucky i dont have much sense of smell ?

Cant quite see from the picture is that one of those Trigon tanks the corner ones or is it a bow front ?.....do you keep a count of your Guppies with them Kissing Gouramis on the prowl ?.....nice natural looking tank.

Yes ive kept Discus a long time now mate.....you probably know the saying with them... " you dont keep Discus you keep water " ? Marines never really interested me,what do you keep these days mate anything ?

If your feeling flush i think Berkeley Square takes some beating for restaurants....Benares,Sexy Fish for the foreign muck or Hakkasans which i think was the first Chinese restaurant in London to be awarded a Michelin star....even the pizza place Bocconcinos round the corner is nice....if your partial to a drop of wine poke your head into a shop called Hedonism on Davies St ?....or for a steak stick with me over Canary Wharf you,ve got Goodmans and The Boisedale both great eateries.......i dont get over West London much but ive been on the London Shell Co boat a few times over near Paddington

Think youve got that wrong mate in London and the south east only around 30% is underground water....theres actually a website you can put your postcode in and find the exact breakdown of water parameters for your area ph/gh etc..... anyone who keeps certain types of fish have to know the water in their area.

I think thats brilliant having the knowledge and confidence to do that....some of you hardcore hunters will probably laugh but ive only recently learned how to prepare a rabbit for the table and it gave me so much pleasure to actually eat something i caught....i dont suppose theres too much difference whatever the animal but it certainly tasted better,mind you the fact i gave them to a shit hot chef to cook might of played a part ?

Yeah but you aint seen the state of the football club ? We didnt really have that as kids, if there was food in the cupboard whoever got there first got it down sharpish we didnt have that typical family round the table dinner which is probably why i value it so much as an adult....totally agree about the company id rather have good company and bad food than bad company and good food.....surroundings are important as well i go into some restaurants and spend half the time wandering about just looking at stuff.....someone above mentioned empty restaurants,thats a pet hate of mine as well i

I cant stand people who complain at every opportunity just so they can flex their foody knowledge muscles ( not saying thats you by the way ).....theres a few people i refuse to go out with simply because they complain at the drop of a hat......my attitude is as long as the food is edible and the place is clean i wont complain i just wont go back......food is such an individual thing i think you have to be a bit flexible what i find tasty someone else might think is crap i hate people who think they elevate a notch of the social ladder just because they are in an expensive restaurant i,ll show

I think people who love eating out can sometimes be their own worst enemy we,ve often got to a stage where we,re eating out so much you start to use nice restaurants as little more than cafes and it actually spoils the whole experience....for me eating out in a group is a cherished social occasion that i love to do so doing it too often loses its value....it doesnt help when you are surrounded by nice restaurants and i hate washing up so eat out probably more than we should ?...i have a handful of my favourite restaurants me and a pal owned one for a while but again you end up using it like a

I have an Ro system on the kitchen sink but its only for my fish tank....it does soften the water but im not sure the output would be enough for day to day household use,plus you have to regularly change the membrane to keep it in optimum condition,plus its a bit bulky and takes up a fair bit of space ......yeah forget that bad idea ?
