  6. There has been talk on here about starting up an organisation for working terriers in Ireland, just wondering has anyone started the ball rolling. i reckon the best way to do it will be with local clubs becoming involved ,which is a thing we need more of and should lurcher work issues be included. I would be willing to join a club but i do not know of any in my area,so if there is any in the Dublin or east Leinster area could i get some info on them. or if anyone is interested in starting up a club let us know. 7. Looking forward to it ,coming from Dublin is it quicker to go through kilkenny or down the M 8
  8. After a few doubled up start slipping single handed(if the the dog is the right age size and type) and if they are taking to the job in hand leave them to it ,but if they are making a meal of it then maybe let the other dog on,and keep slipping single handed and trying them with the other dog on stand by for a couple more times and if they still cant handle it they might not make a single handed dog
  9. Rose Judged my bitch for the all Ireland in Ballinlough and picked her as champion, the same bitch was champion in Birr last year and was reserve in the 5 nations ' i was at 90% of the shows in this country last year and Rose was as good as any Judge i have come across, and i would have no bother showing my dogs with Rose being the judge

  16. Yes.....even if it means jumping on someones permission because he is unfortunate enough to be working?! Is it just me being 'old school', seems it is, seeing as he is being pat on the Back. Maybe so,if a farmer is losing stock ,the job needs doing and doing quick. If i cant get up to a farm straight away ,i will tell them when i can,and if i had to i would go at night lamping and even dig if needs be
  17. Well done, getting permission is a chain reaction ,1 leads to 2 and so on
  18. Great pic FF,I would say that old bitch has served you well over the years
  19. A mate of mine to looks after my dogs when i'm away went to take them out for a walk in the field i walk my dogs and when he let them off the lead they all turned around and ran back to my house LOL But i had the same lad's dog house in my yard while he was in a bit of bother ,i had her for over a year until she had to be put to sleep due to cancer ,but i used her as if she was mine and i think she would be still here is she was still alive
  20. I have judged a couple of times and it is no easy task,i have also had my dogs judged by Rose and she was as good as any other judge i have come across ,and better than some of the so called working dog men
