  1. Not Anne powers is it? I'm thinking Elaine? I just know my mates went to her for 2 first cross pups and when 1 of them was old enough to try on a hare it took a heart attack on it's first course , so I stayed away from them lines and got doxhope blooded dogs on
  2. Normally rest them for a few weeks mate, sounds like the jill has got in the habit of sulking, where she shows her face then goes back down . I normally leave them till they wander out the hole fully then pick them up
  3. As Tuffty said, but you might not be able to do it on your phone
  4. Handy wee dogs the beddy/whippets mate, excellent little rabbiting dogs that will take the odd birds as well
  5. Shame you had to get rid though, but SHH has just reminded me about the pup for you that is provisionally booked
  6. In 20 years I've never had a dog disheartened running rabbits but seen a few jack on fox and deer, so my honest opinion is they will never get sick of running rabbits
  7. best answer How is that the best answer, on a 100 yard slip the dog will be tiring before getting there Its the best answer cos its the only answer. Read the question properly. Derbylad and Chid have gave you the best answers though, there is a lot of factors to consider when planning a slip as Derbylad said For your dog I would give it short slips all it's life but I slip my deer/greys and pure greys up to 50 yards, is that better for you

  10. Why the fook should he be ashamed of taking his dog out on permission and it had a accident because of a lazy twat not backfilling?
  11. The 78 takes 12g bottles but the 79 takes 88g bottles giving roughly 200 shots Milegajo did a post the other day as he has converted his 79 to a pcp type set up, if it gets too cold then the co2 doesn't come out right (more like a liquid than a gas) http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/262061-qbxs79-22-co2-conversion-to-pcphpa/page__hl__milegajo here mate
  12. I've had the xs79 (bigger bottle so more shots) and they are alright guns mate, I didn't bother with a silencer though but it killed plenty of stuff to 30 yards
