  1. Agree 100% with that mate, where you based Peter?
  2. Still to young for ground work in my opinion, take them out with a experienced terrier to learn the underground work. Just let them listen to the older dog to start with, then when you have a dig swap the terriers over by placing a spade between dog and fox and give the pup 5 minutes of baying at it Liam
  3. You got some nice birds mate, good little set up as well
  4. Just tell them if you didn't control them then they would eat all the vegetables so the anti's couldn't eat I'll not even put up what the anti's have threatened to do to me or my dogs from behind their keyboard but I do like to wind the buggers up
  5. Cheers Forager, with shooting season over I'll be spending some quality time out there

  10. Now this is where you need to be honest mate.....Did you let the dog fetch sticks and then have a little chew on them, did you or anyone think it was fun to play 'tug' with the dog or when she was a pup did she have any chews with those f*****g squeaks in them?.... If so then all these things contribute to a hard mouth dog.... Obviously i'm speaking from a Gundog point of view but you could try keeping her on a lead and let her carry something (a dummy if you have one), the minute you see her bite down on it then give her a tap on the nose and a stern 'No!!'. You have to repeat this until

  12. The owner won't get them innoculated unless they are 8 - 10 weeks Dog or bitch is up to you, bitches are pains twice a year but dogs are pains all year round Stock training is easier with pups and as for picking 1, well if a pup comes over and chills beside you then go with that but as Alan said look for a russel rather than a bull x terrier. Before any bully fans say anything I do have a couple myself
  13. Get 1 with out terrier in , but some dogs learn what to bite hard and what not to
