    You are alright in my book pal, in fact I'll get you up here for some sport , there is some decent travellers have permission to stay on my mates land when they travel through and I enjoy a bit banter on with them and some good dog work . Good and bad in all walks of life though and NO I ain't a traveller but I get around the island a bit

    Welcome to the forum, teach it the basics first, recall and staying when told. When it's had the second injection then start with the lead training and get it socialised. Walk it next to live stock so it's used to sheep and cattle, but most of all enjoy it for being a pup and working it will be a bonus when it's older , lamping training will start about the 10 months mark but some pups will start earlier others later. Purdeys progress is a good dvd to watch about basic training of lurcher pups

    Not sure where to put todays trip so if the mods want to move then feel free Decided to not go to the final shoot day so decided to spend some quality time with the pregnant 1 and the dogs, the little terrier bitch is in sick bay so only had my terrier dog and the 2 greyhound bitches. Pulled up at her dads farm and had a walk down to check a few earths with the dog terrier, couldn't find anything to ground and the greys were not showing any interest in the holes so after about 2 hours of walking around and checking 5 earths with nothing at home I was getting disheartened and started to th
