    Rob 190365 I was thinking the same ! You've gotta get some years and experience behind you before you think of breeding your own line ! In my opinion there's plenty of reputable people doing it !

    Johnny boy68 I totally agree ! Before the bull greyhound was about there where plenty of dogs that done the dogs perfectly one of the reasons I like to keep deerhound xs too

    Only the person who owns the dog knows what works for them I've kept personally an apbt a staffy and an english and in my opinion I couldn't compare to the apbt you've really gotta see and work these dogs to see there potential ! But it only comes down to everyones preference

    I've found it harder than usual but just looking on higher ground ! Plus waliking a few more hours ! Had some really bad nights over christmas ! But looked at the missus tonight said let's have a quick shine and had some awsome runs only out for an hour unexpectedly and made it all worth it

    I would never entertain it ! It would definitely put them off ! I had a bitch that hit an electric fence and took forever to get her right again ! I know lads that use electric collars to train labs and was told how good it has an effect on stock breaking ! If it does that then I'm sure it would do the same on game ! In my opinion anyway

    I use hibiscrub my bro sudacrem !!! Plus keep clean and keep a close eye out for infection !! Amoxicillin works well !!!

    I know alot of people swear by road walking !! Plus work and a good diet normally barf!!

    The fact is it really depends on the land you have !! There's many a breed and it's taken me years to know what suits me best !!! You've really got to enjoy the breed you choose and only you can decide !! It's no good if you take a dog on your not 100 percent about !! You have got to really look into the breedings and get out and see them work if your not a 100 percent then your heart will never be in it and youve got to enjoy it !!! The best dog I owned was a 1/4 bull 1/4 collie half grey took it on as I wanted to give it a second chance it was useless then turned into an amazing dog not ever

    Whippets doing fox !!! Maybe cubbies and know a few that have but why smash a dog up like that and risk a dog f*****g itself up !!! Get a bigger dog !! There's plenty of breeds that'll do the job perfectly with minimal damage !!

    I have a deerhound grey collie a deerhound collie beddy and a deerhound grey whippet the first two 26 inch the one with whippet 23 inch all took longer to come on than I'd hope as I've learnt alot with deerhound in take longer than say bull x which I'm used to but wouldnt change them for the world very loyal relaxed dogs !! The one with whippet on is generation generation proven very well bred and worried me alot as didn't pick things up until recently

    As said before I gave up due to my daughter being in intensive care for so long ! I used to have seven dogs ! I reduced numbers then gave up ! But I'm starting back up and am in need of a working lurcher as I only have a pup ! As you see I haven't got rid for the money !!
