Covered in Mink hound slobber, stinking of river, ratty, damp hair, and smudged eye make up . . . Trust me Mink hunting does nothing for your appearance!! HA HA been there done that???!!! not the eye make up?? even worse if you manage to take a dive in a pool?!!!!!!!!!! f**k off youve been there with the eye make up.. Fair play!! only on a good day though

    thankyou all for the replys, i am new to the rimmy scene, i cant get over the power of this small gun?! i dont want to lose acuracy as the corvids im shooting are on an airfield and getting to within 120-150 yds is doing very well!!! ill go down the gunshop and get a rod and patches and cleaner tomorrorw and keep in top of it how often is recommended for cleaning barrell through?? cheers oli

    just bought a new stirling .17hmr with a stainless barrel, as above which are the right cleaning products and tools, i have currently fired 16 rounds through it?? any help and advise welcome cheers oli

    Hi all first off a big thanks to my mate lee for providing me with a crow this morning already caught two more! I currently have a top opening larsen and two side openers, I don't like the side openers much don't seem to catch much? My mate lee who's a gamekeeper has said he used a larsen with the trap compartment on top of the call bird compartment just wondering what everyone thinks of them and does any one have any plans for building one,cheers Oli

    that is a different looking trap to ours but seems very effective what bait did you use and would a crow decoy work to catch your first live bird to attract the rest??? cheers oli

    its always hard! i have lost two in the last two seasons both were cracking little bitches, both circumstances were bad and i nearly went the wrong way, but we went out and found another pup fairly soon from real good stuff no names just worker to worker, and with the pup about you soon forget the trauma but never forget the dogs!! every good performance at particular earths your mind gets cast back to them. a couple of mates have said they would of gave it all up if they had lost a dog but life goes on and digging is part of my life! RIP all those lost oli

    hi all anyone have any luck catching maggies in a side opening larsen, i dont personally like them but the boss just bought some saying they are better than top openers!!!!!!! ill deffo try the grass/straw into a nest method for bait though cheers oli

    how do you go about cleaning a .22lr semi auto from chamber to muzzle if using a rod and patches, ive not had gun that long and previous owner said he neveer bothered to clean it, but looking at the end of the muzzle it looks dirty so i would like to clean it through?? any advise?? cheers oli
