    My Dad

Sorry for your loss mate, I lost my dad 22 years ago this year, I came home from school one day aged 13 and he had died of a heart attack that day, The only real healers are time and a good family and friends, Best of luck to you and yours mate,
  3. Apparently he's starring in a new sit-com too, "Only pools and Corpses"
  4. Michael Barrymore was asked if he'll be doing a panto this year, he said he didn't think so as he "DID ALLADIN" 6 years ago and hasn't heard the last of it!
  5. How close can you get to it? have you ever used a cast net?
  6. have you got an FAC reg gun then? if not, surely that's not powerful enough to drop a hare outright? I've dropped hares in the past no bother at all with a legal limit air rifle, my trusty bsa s10 :thumbs-up:
  7. Did anyone see the cowboy pest controller on "House of Horrors" recently?? what a joker he was
  8. no worries, just wondered if you might have known the people I'll be staying with,
  9. Cheers MW, I'll see if we have time to give it a go do you live up that way then? does anyone else know Inverary well? :thumbs-up:
  10. So did I!!!! Did lurcherbitch just agree with me!
  11. of corse it is, unless you've been starring in the program "life on marse" lol it's like calling all inuites "eskimos"
  12. Like I said mate, they're the Knackers. :thumbs-up:
  13. Tyson, I did just read through the "who bred bob" thread and apart from gf talking about gypsy's you sound like the worst racist on there mate, Ranting on about "haggis bashers" and "sheep shaggers"? the word Biggot springs to mind.
  14. I think the difference is people are getting genuine traveler folk mixed up with "Knackers", and I'm not bein racist at all, Southerners call them "Pikeys", the Irish and the Travelers I know all call them "Knackers", these are the "don't give a sh1t" thieving brawling dodgy buggers that people are on about, unfortunately everyone gets tarred with the same brush far to often. Its like calling all asian people Pakies, or in "tyson's" case calling black people "coloured"! sometimes its just ignorance :thumbs-up:
  15. It's Here cheers ditch, I found it earlier and registered, get my request posted asap,
  16. Thanks for your replies guys, unfortunately I can't make Henley market this wednesday and I could idealy do with picking one up by the weekend. Ditch, I'll look on the Practical Poultry Forum tonight if I can find it, Chillet, the address of that place would be great if you could dig it out, cheers fellas,
  17. Good link that Ditch, I've just had their catalogue of training cources arrive, I like to think I'm quite proficient at what I like to do, but having the qualifications to prove it will certainly help, also widening ones horizons to cover day to day bread n butter jobs is the way to go me thinks
  18. No mate. Best way to a womans heart is up through the diaphragm with a long, sharp blade Ditch mate, if she's the type you'd want to stab i'd just keep me distance................and do it with a 42g AAA! the bloke in the program though was spot on, accentuated I think by his unfortunate "down on his luck" appearence. hope he does well!
  19. I think it looks spot on for protection of the rifle, but I wonder if it might be a bit shiny for camo perposes? I camo'd the front end of my BSA Super10 but I think the tape I used is the more "Dull" fabric tape, :thumbs-up: still it looks a tidy job my less than tidy effort :thumbs-up: edited to add pic,
  20. He was asking opinions about lurchers Frank, it says in his post he gives it to his racing greys, :thumbs-up: Stop being a girl just cos someone disagreed with your views, I've never used it although this coming season will be the first real hard working one for my 2 and I intend to use recharge or similar. "timmy k" where did you get the recipe for that "electrolite" mix? it it known that these are the right quanteties or is it something you made up yourself? not having a dig, just that as I don't know you and I'm not an expert in these matters I'd like to get things right when
  21. As above peahen wanted for a friends lonley peacock. the peacock is an Indian Blue and I'm not sure if you can mix them? We can travel to collect within reason so if anyone has one or has any info with contact details and a location would be great, Many thanks in advance, :thumbs-up:
  22. MW, The people I'm staying with live a mile walk from Inverary, and they have a boat too They should be able to point me in the right direction themselves but I was trying to get a bit of info before I went to try and make myself look a little less of a Numpty when I get there. Some would say it's a bit late for that
  23. I Know! christ knows what posessed me to write fine? The friend who's parents we're staying with will never forgive me! They live on the bank of "Loch Fyne" in Inverary, my first time there but from the pics I've seen it looks great, :thumbs-up: cheers Joe,
