that k9 kondo site has a hole cut in the top of them, with a platform built over it to ventilate the barrel and cover the hole. easy job with a bit of ply.

thought id fix for ya hmmm, or not

agreed. i got a mango chutney one, holds a 15kg sack perfectly and has proper strong handles on. i got a big maple syrup barrel here, was gona make a bbq out of it, might end up a dog bed now

good luck. i had a nightmare moment the day i fetched my pup home last september, a bee landed and she nailed it, ran and opened her mouth to try get it out, could hear it buzzing as she swallowed it. luckily, nothing happened. pups ey!

actually it is the british way to send them away, britain invented penal transportation as well as concentration camps. if it is guaranteed that they are gona be torn limb from limb and not just sent back to rejoin the crusade, then by all means ship the feckers off!

nah, im new, have me a dog i rescued that i now have more time to spend with. his recall needs improving but thanks to advice ive had from lads on here he's coming along now so am starting to look at what i can work him on as he is very eager and runs off when given the chance. looking for someone local to take us out for some ratting when his recall is bang on and then perhaps progress from there. sorry for the thread hijack by the way, but i am sure there will be other novices who wont be so brave to ask something a lot of you take for granted cheers

i agree, the fox is a beautiful creature and it does play its part in the countryside ecosystem. and it is only natural to humanise an animal, its no different to seeing your dogs as family. people saying they need to be eradicated at all costs in my opinion are idiots. a) have some respect for your quarry. and b- what would you hunt when it is gone? yes, they are killers and yes, they cause trouble for farmers and without check on their numbers they arent even any good to themselves, but at the end of the day the aim should be to control their numbers while conserving them for a) th

sound, i wasnt saying i didnt think they could or anything. just i thought people would use the more whippet-like beddy or something leggy as you say. what is the best way? slip them through cover or what?

if he's a proven worker, you'll probably have more joy with him at stud to a decent working bitch and take a pup as payment. i cant see anyone selling you a pup specifically to breed to a male of a breed which is highly criticised.

Help sought as totally new to this......

im not an expert ratter, but from everything ive read on here and other places, i would say that any dog from a staffy size down will be a successful ratter with the right encouragement so just go with your preference of breed and also what is easily available. 1 observation though, if your estate has a proper problem with rats, id be weary in case some people have put rat poison out. its different on a farm where the farmer will use a dog man instead of poison, but you cant account for everyone on your estate. -
will a terrier chase down a rabbit? not being a knob or anything, just figured that often a lurcher wont catch one and with their stride advantage etc. or is there a sneaky technique for it? well done on his first bunny though

i dont know about ireland but we are not out of recession. yes, "technically" based on gordon's figures we are, but how much public money did he plough into the economy over the winter? and then stuff like the scrappage scheme was extended .....because it was successful? no, because it gave brown the chance to have the quarterly figures out close to the election to show how wonderful a job he'd done rescuing us from the recession. they werent real world figures, they were vastly inflated by the government bailout spending to help win labour another election. just my 2p anyway

mars said it, need to petition your mp and/or cleggy as theyve asked for what laws we wants scrapped. if everyone who hunts or supports hunting wrote to their mp, then it should go in fairness.

it will be obvious when you get it if its liquid or block, they empty the fat system when the fat is cold to save any potential disasters lol. home made oil mixes with no tax on are all as illegal as eachother, so why bother mixing it? theres a bmw approved garage by me and the owner runs a 3 series derv on free cooking oil as it is.

as you are a private seller, sold as seen means exactly that. you say he is a trader and had someone else look over the car too, if the head gasket was gone when he bought it from you, even my mrs would have spotted it and she needs someone to reverse the car off the drive for her. if he starts babbling about the trades descriptions act etc, saying it has to be fit for purpose and what not. ignore it, this act is only applicable to traders. basically its as everyone else said, he's trying it on, so dont give anyone else's details to him, they need the headache even less than you do.

scavengers, but bloody pretty birds. theres tonnes of em round my way, can often count 10 or more from the comfort of my own living room. and theres a red kite feeding centre or something similar just a few miles away. drive past there and theres literally too many to count

doesnt smell that bad. though once got some from an indian and it absolutely stank of curry

better off getting your own, most chippys have to pay to have it disposed of so will give it to you for free. all he'll be doing is filtering the bits out. if you pour it through a sock into your tank and change your fuel filter regularly, you'll have no trouble whatsoever.

cheers for that advise, i got my bullmastiff trained well off the lead by going in the opposite direction to her, but i had her from 8 weeks and follows me pretty naturally anyway so cant take too much credit for her. the problem i have is that when he sets off at such an incredible rate of knots, it disagrees with all my instincts to go the other way. even though i know that chasing him will make it worse.

Warning (Midlands Areas) possibly others too

strong stuff hit the nail squarely on the bonce to be fair. i think the reason a lot of them are having problems is they are all advertising them freely as f**k on the internet. if you wanted a "game bred" pitbull pup then you could find a litter and be on your way to get it within 10-15 mins even if you had zero connections to the dog world. fyi theres been a couple of raids in south wales over the weekend too. ps. not saying thats why the lad on here got raided or anything, just that these are the ones causing problems for decent guys who mind their own business. -
well, been a week of trying to knacker him out before doing recall and i must say its working pretty well. i will keep this up for a while longer but then which would be more useful, do a couple weeks of recall without running him first? or try him off the lead after running him? both id say have merits, the quicker i can get him to return without having to run him flat out for ages beforehand the better. and the quicker he learns that come here means lead or no lead the better too. but which first? thanks

did you get my pm suda?

there might have been scope for a rematch, but not really now with the manner in which he was defeated. there's been stirring about his preperations though, his trainer has dropped him in it saying he messed around all the time, and frank warren has told him if he wants to mess around, f**k off somewhere else. no real shocks anywhere, all to plan really. khan really has to fight maidana or ortiz next before stepping on to bradley and alexander.

fair comments to be honest. though i do think you underestimate pacquiao. to get as much power as he does from his tiny stature, and from the angles he throws his punches, his technique is second to none. pacquiao is definitely the man to take mayweather past being flummoxed for a couple of rounds before figuring out a style. its going to be an out and out scrap and a good one. though as i say, pacquiao isnow contracted to fight at cowboys stadium again. mayweather wont fight there as he is only allowed to inject his hands with pain killing xylocane before fights in nevada. its rare to fi

dont take this the wrong way blan, but who has he fought who is a top of their game, pressure fighter? he's only fought a handful of world level fighters in his career...corrales, castillo, gatti, judah, de la hoya, hatton, and mosely. and of those, probably only hatton was at the top of his game. corrales and castillo were just heavy handed, easy to hit fighters who were not in pacquiao's class. gatti was well on his way out and hadnt looked the same since the ward trilogy, and de la hoya, while didnt have a hope of winning on paper actually only lost to a dubious split decision. the
