Hi Sully, Can you explain Koi Carp in the back ground for me
-
Cute little guys man! Nice hutch you built there as well.

Interesting, does she ever manage to actually catch them and pull them out? How often does she scare them out of another hole? Or does she not go in deep enough? Has she ever got stuck or does she always manage to get out herself? She's flushed a few out of one massive set at the end of last season, and caught another in one. Touch wood, she hasn't got stuck as yet, she's small all over, not just in height. She hasn't been in that many big warrens, only the one I just mentioned. I don't go out solely putting her to ground after rabbits, I work her with the ferrets, but I like to see her

FCUKING PRICK!!!!!!! Yup, bit of pressure either side of the mouth around the area where the carnasial teeth are will do the trick, thats how we would also open the seal pups mouths when we were force feeding them, great fun lol!!! Correct! Like with canine pups and most predatory youngsters. I remember when I got my first ferret, he was an adult, he would grab hold of my forearm and start ragging it, pretty funny really, never caused me to bleed. Then went back to the same rescue and got another male ploecat, a kit this time. Then went back t

Cheers for the advice, Your welcome mate

I think jac meant (I'm assuming here) getting her used to eating the rabbit raw, not freshly caught, lying down in the field for a quick rabbit snack whilst still out. Shouldn't be cooking the rabbit though jac. Just skin it, that'll do the trick. Would probably help if you get her onto some proper food ie chicken carcasses ect. All the best.

Nice dog mate!

YES! Feed BARF (bones and raw food/biologically approved raw food). All dogs should be on BARF no matter what you want from them, if they're gonna be workers or just pets or what ever. Chicken carcasses, tripe, lamb, beef, pork bones what ever a wild dog/wolf would eat. Just DON'T cook any of it!! For starters, when does god come down and microwave the elk for the wolves??? Secondly, if bones are cooked they will become brittle and can cause intestinal problems, not good!! Also, by cooking the meat you are removing some of the goodness from it and it can actually cause problems as dogs

No need to put it in salt water mate, dunno why you'd do that. Even if its got myxi, just give it to her straight, won't do her any harm. You may need to skin it first though if she hasn't had many rabbits before.

I'm sure she'll enjoy that for her dinner!

Exactly! Nothing is achieved over night! Most of these dogs could end up decent, IF in the right hands. Even a pup with generations of good dogs behind it AND that shows excellent potential its self, can be fcuked up by people who shouldn't own them in the first place! You've either got a passion for dogs OR you don't!!! And if you don't, you don't, move on to something else that does interest you and leave the dogs alone, you won't benefit in the long run (either financially or reputation wise) and all you end up doing is messing up decent dogs and/or mating anything with anything and pr

The lizard in question is a Common Lizard, Sand Lizards are slightly chunkier, Commons look more like a Skink. Lucky to see the Adder though, I've never seen one in the wild before, nice picture!

Not a humane way of dispatching the rabbit! The rabbits would have had slow painful deaths. Not Good!!! Either get dogs that dispatch quickly and efficiently, or don't course this species as they're too large for your dogs.

Not with my boy it didn't, although that maybe the reason he puked after eating too many lol
-
One of my ferrets used to eat slugs when I took him out. He loved 'em, but once he eat too many and threw up, so so long as its just the occasional slug and they're not dining on them, then its just a bit of variety for 'em, after all its protein. All good.

Totally agree i cant be arsed to read it Dats easy ur 2 reed dan moast dat poast on ere! I think some people are so used to incorrect English, that when someone educated actually posts, it's too challenging LOL

Bite force is predominantly dependant on head and muzzle size/shape, obviously, the more room there is for the jaw muscles to attached themselves, the stronger the jaws. Again, basic physics, a shorter broader muzzle will produce a harder bite than a longer thinner muzzle. Therefore molloser breeds will bite harder than shepherds and dobermanns. That is the physical side covered. Temperament also plays a part ie emotional state at point of bite. If you have an AB and a GSD both with equal amount of defense, prey or fight drive (which ever drive you are working with at the time) wi

Nice looking bitch Sniper! Whats her stats? Height, Weight, Age Cheers

I remember when I had one of my ferrets round a mates house on harness and lead years ago, it really wanted to get the goldfish in the bowl and may well have done if I didn't keep pulling him out of the bowl lol. Personally I would make the water feature very shallow and not add any fish. This way your ferrets can't drown but can still cool themselves in the summer if they want to. To add fish would mean making it deeper (still not convinced it would save the fish 100%, unless it was very deep, but that would be too dangerous for the ferrets) but this will put your ferrets at unnecessa

Obviously not an ideal cross, but it may not be all bad! My Rottie bitch has caught rabbit, squirrel, pigeon and mice. She hunts like a lioness, not taught, just instinct, she hunts my male Dobermann exactly the same, crouching down and waiting for the right moment lol. She has excellent bursts of speed, she can get her elbows over my 6' 3" fence but her shear weight pulls her back down again (luckily), but obviously her stamina isn't great compared to some other breeds out there like the Dobe that will literally run all day!

One looks Wolf x Malamute, and the other Samoyed x Wolf

Leave the tail as it is! Docking at nine months can only cause problems.
