  1. You'd be lucky to get £70 for it in a trade with a gun shop, your best bet is sell it privately...
  2. I don't have a problem holding it steady at all Adam I've always liked heavy guns ever since I started shooting many moons ago. My S-TYPE fully kitted weighs in a 12.5lb and if you can get used to that weight you won't find as better gun on the market. I suppose it's just down to technique when holding heavier guns, I've been shooting for over 30 years now and as an old Irish man said to me once "There's no substitute for experience"....
  3. Just as the title say's on my shoot in the last couple off weeks those pesky wabbits are at it like flys I only went out for a couple of hours with my mate (who can't shoot for toffee ) My mate only hit 2 but they were runners or Terminator bunnies as their eyes were red in the lamp and they get up and run after his BSA ultra in .22 thumps them.. I bagged all these little feckers with my trusty Rapid in .177 caliber all went cleanly and most of them were pretty long shots too Enjoy
  4. These pistols are now owned by Crosman although Sheridan and Benjamin trade in their name. Crosman own them all out right, and as for the names well 'Pro Hunter' was given to the .20 version only but they are all EB's by model number.

  6. It's not advisable to do this so stick to your rifle for bunnies etc
  7. I've done rats at 25 yards clean the feckers don't even wriggle I never attempt anything further than that, but hey I've got a Rapid so I don't need to do pest control with pistols
  8. These are the most powerful legal pistols you can buy, mine is doing 5.5-5.8ft/lb on my chrono....
  9. Have a look here for my pursuits on the .20 Sheridan..
  10. You can still buy the .177 caliber and the .22 caliber. The .20 caliber was only made from 1999-2001 and then was discontinued IMHO this was the best caliber in this pistol made I'm sure if you put a wanted advert up in gun forums then someone may be willing to part with one. This caliber pistol is as rare a rocking horse shite but there was over 10,000 put into circulation in the UK.... Good luck with you pursuit and let us all know if you get one. One word of advise don't haggle too much about the price of these in the second hand market as they are now collectable. Before you ask
  11. Nice gun mate these are very accurate bits of kit, when I had mine it seemed to love Air Arm Field Diablo pellets as they were hard hitting a very accurate pellets to use not to mention well suited to these barrels. All I can say now is get out a murder some wabbits with it
  12. I completely disagree with being able to put a pump into a rucksack It would have to be a very large rucksack to hold that as well as the rest of your hunting stuff, not mention a packed lunch and flask of beverage The average pump stands at 26" from the ground and with the metal feet on it things will get very uncomfortable. Why would you want to take a pump on a shoot??? Most PCP rifles can hold 70 shots and above which is more than whats needed for a hunt so why consider carrying a pump?? Pumps are very useful for topping up but dive bottles have a better quality air for the
  13. Don't worry about milo "he's SPECIAL "
  14. I'm in full agreement with John-B here after all you may pay to shoot on this land and when you get there you might find it's been shot to piece by other shooters I would do a yell.com search for farms in your area and sent out polite requests for permission to shoot pests on their land. Always send a SAE so the land owner can reply and fill in your permission sheet. It's a probability game here so let's say you send 10 permission sheets out and you only get one positive reply, then in that case it's only cost you the price of one stamp to get that permission. Most people can afford to lo
  15. With the stealth the buddy bottles are basically the butt of the stock, so the weight is in the back of the rifle whereas the S-TYPE'S buddy bottle is in the front. A stealth even with an 800cc buddy bottle still can not compete in shot capacity with a Theoben. I like the stealth but don't like the single shot part. These would be very competitive in the field if they were multi-shot and regulated properly for consistancy shot to shot. Thus you may get more shots from a single fill wether it be a 500cc or 800cc buddy bottle....
  16. Is it heavier than a hw100t?. The MK1 Rapid is lighter than HW100 range but the S-TYPE range will be heavier due to the 500cc buddy bottle and regulated action. My S-TYPE weighs 12.5 lb fully scoped up, but I've always liked a heavy gun and have no problems with shooting from standing to sitting positions etc. The shot capacity of a Theoben will beat any Daystate hands down
  17. Domed pellets for all quarry and pests you may encounter IMHO...
  18. I'd recommend getting a Rapid mate
  19. On my shoot there's plenty of water and bogs so sometimes they take a swim after getting shot
  20. Baby rabbits have been seen on my shoot for the first time this year, I have a 50 acre plot to shoot on which is heaving with bunnies. I've counted over 25 large warrens on this shoot so it looks like summer time is gonna be a busy one for me
  21. That's a MK1 with a profile stock milo in .177 flavour
  22. Get your act together, im not i school kid i am a sixth form student who really needs to change his name and i would never own a spring gun Still a kid in a higher grade at school then. Not a mature member or your retort would have been refined without the attitude
  23. This thread is a waste of space and should be treated a SPAM nothing will be learn't or gained from getting schools kids with springer rifles to buff up their egos and tell lies about range Mature members will see through this shite all day long!
  24. Timelord
