It's a real shame that you have to ask people here YET AGAIN to adhere to the rules of this forum. I will actively report anyone to the moderators breaking these rules whenever I see such threads and posts etc as I trawl these forums on a daily basis... Can I also make another suggestion? There is such a thing as spell check installed into most computers and browsers etc these days not to mention GOOGLE, my point is if you want the anti-hunt brigade to think of you all in a very dim light then carry on spelling everything wrong!! I take it you are talking about a Mark 1 Rapid 17??? If that's the case then I can agree with you but if you have a well regulated Mark 2 or an S-TYPE the the Weirauch although a fantastic rifle does not come close....

im not sure what we have ever done to upset you but you seem to have a few issues with us? Well anyhow to clear things up we have just phoned the police firearms unit. They said that in a public place the air rifle needs to be inaccesibe to be fired. They said to be in the safe side its best to have it in a slip in the car as it is dependant on the officer at the scene as to how he deals with it. But that was never the issue the issue was he was adament that it go in the boot, this is what we were asking, is it the law that the air rifle must be in the boot. Well in my experienc

It's got to be a Rapid from MarkII upwards the shot count knocks spots off all PCP's on the market, Daystates and BSAs just don't come close to the amount of shots from a fill. My S-TYPE in .177 flavour gives me 500 full powered shots from one fill. In .22 they can put out 700 shots from a fill. Accuracy on all the PCPs mentioned in this thread and my post are brilliant so it will hard to choose. A well regulated Rapid will serve you well with the high shot count your require

I have to agree with you hw97, I much prefer the rifle in the buff, all I've put on lately is an even brighter lamp and a black neoprene buddy bottle cover which really looks the dogs nuts

Thanks buddy I've just made it even more silent now with an AWT moderator fitted on it, I think it looks really smart and even more aggressive. But most of all it's twice as quiet as as the original Theoben vortex silencer..

Cheers! Have you ever tried Barracudas (or whoever's name's on the tin) in .20? I have a lot of faith with these in .177 and have an idea of how I hope they'll peform in .20. A good bit lighter than .22 but not that much more weighty than .177 with the same brand. Thanks. I've not seen this pellet in .20 so I can't comment if you have any questions then phone Theoben and ask the engineer of what pellets to avoid due to a higher content of steel in the mix. This means stay well clear of Accupells. I use Air Arms Field Diablos in my .177 S-type and JSB exacts both of these are excellen

JSB exacts are recommended for this caliber by Theoben and being a domed pellet you won't go wrong with these

I used to have a MK1 Rapid in .20 caliber and I've got to say it was a true hunting machine I really hope you have as much fun as I did with mine. It's a shame that the only drawback with .20 is pellet availability as theirs not a lot of choice. Having said that .20 will do rabbits in sub 12ft/lb at 60+ yards all day as it's nearly as flat shooting as .177 let us know how you get on with it.

My answer is also NO and as for using a rimfire well if the FEO knew this was going on then you would not be holding an FAC. THE RULE OF BACKSTOP IS THERE FOR A REASON! I just hope that the admin don't get hauled over the coals if the wrong person reads this as you are not annonymous as you think on the Internet....

It's £4.00 down here in Exmouth and only a 10 minute walk from my house. The diving industry in Devon is not having any issues due to the hobby divers etc. As regards testing well they send them away to be done at the price of £27. They do not question up to date test stamps on the bottle but will refuse any needing testing...

Ah but thats where your wrong, you can get a multishot magazine for the qb78 from archerairguns from the us and it isnt that expensive either! You can also get a rather nice thumbhole stock for the qb78/crosman.. Got any links for the American site where you can buy these because if they fit my King Ratty I'll be getting one to convert it to multishot

Nice looking gun mate The only drawback is they've not made a multishot magazine conversion yet, now then it would be an even better gun for hunting, as we all know it's nice to have another shot ready to finish quarry that did not go lights out instantly or another critter presents itself after shooting the first Hope you have fun anyway mate
