  1. Don't waste your money pal they are a pile of crap for lamping rabbits my mate had one and was really disappointed by it's performance. They might be ok for short range ratting but that is it save your cash and keep looking for something else
  2. A couple more for your thread Liam
  3. I will be interested in how that Deben Stinger performs in the field mate...
  4. Nice going Craig and tell your Mrs well done for spotting it too
  5. Cheers Ferretville it's really nice to know that no one else will shoot this little plot so I'll always have something to shoot all year round. As we all know if to many shooters hit a piece of land the bunnies get wise and just move on to a field that you probably don't have permission on
  6. Pistols 6ft/lb and rifles 12ft/lb before an FAC is needed
  7. i'll let you know this evening but for now they smell really good as they cook nice and slow
  8. Well I thought we were going ratting tonight but plans were changed at the last minute. My mate decided to take myself and another lad for a shoot on a 50 acre piece of farm land. The rabbits were a little bit skitish and slightly lamp shy but all the same we managed a good couple each. I had these two at around 50 yards with nice clean head shots, I did hit a couple more but they dived into the hedges and died so I would say the pot would have been bigger. My two buddies had at least 2-3 each but only carried home a couple for themselves. For me it was dark and I was on new land which my mat
  9. Domed pellets for me as my Theoben is choosy so I use Air Arm Diablo Field's. My King Ratty loves RWS superdome and Accupels follow a close second, always play about with different types of pellets to find out what your gun prefers both in accuracy and hunting power/penetration etc...
  10. Theoben S-TYPE .177 amongst others in total I own 4 guns....
  11. This is quite normal for CO2 to puff like this especially when the canister is brand new. In fog well it will be more visible because the CO2 that comes out of the barrel is a lot colder than the warmer air in foggy conditions. As Big bald beautiful has pointed out dieseling only happens to springers and CO2 stinks real bad and now you mention it 'just like fuel'...
  12. Assuming makes an ass out of u and me I agree fully but the original poster has not explained anything in his post it's very vague. So on that note it only leaves you to assume
  13. Posting about upgrading a non FAC rifle (and I'm assuming you are thinking of going above the 12ft/lb limit) is against the forum rules and would be an illegal post here....
  14. I use CR123A batteries in both of mine but you can also use Ultrafire TR18650's. The nylon strap will do a good job but if your looking fo something more permanant the LOOK HERE... thanks fella batteries are exspensive 5 for £8 man hopefuly they last a while lol cheers again Go on fleebay and see what you can find, I found 50x CR123A's for $22 about £13 in English money. If you buy them from England you will get ripped off here as they are mostly used in cameras etc...
  15. Will look forward to seeing you idea and prototype...

  17. I agree Craig and I'm sure in the future we'll all be here for the love of our sport! Shooting air rifles at our legal quarry and not let others think we are retards because we HUNT..... This kind of bickering makes the non voters for hunting vote harder, only because we don't sing the same tune, so we must stand strong buddy

Oh yeah I have to hold the laughter back when they do just that

    magpies

Great advice shaun I also use the tic tak box and the fake nest to lure those black and white bandits in and it works like a charm
  20. Fantastic post and great work you've done there Mohamed Tassem I hope it now shoots as good as it looks
  21. Well I have nothing to prove and if shooting a magpie is easier than shooting a rabbit just let me know I do admit that my new rifle has only had 3 rabbits in the field, this is because I have to work as I run a very busy business. So time has not been on my side, but hey when I have time to take pictures of dead things in the future to satify the curious here I will. Yes I've been grumpy just of late and it may have been reflected in my posts. All work and no play!! I don't own a bird table Andy! I shot those magpies with a pistol which is a little more challenging than a rifle.
