    the problem is a lot of people on hear spend a lot of time talking about dogs and make them into a world beater post pictures of them. the blokes with good dogs who are out a few times a week doing the big stuff single handed dont post or put pictures up as they dont need to and dont want people to know what they are doing. they are happy toknow there dog is doing it and dont want to brag or make themselves look the big i am. i think some of you on here would have a shock if you saw a proper single handed dog doing its job. dont want to start a argument just my opinion. happy hunting and h

    i would agree they are seen in great numbers while out lamping.

    i have done it. just partioned mine off in 2 and made a big box to sleep in and then cut hole in wall that goes onto a run. thats concrete pad with drains etc for washing down and steele pens around that. with the base and pens cost me about £3oo-400. worth it though atb mike

    i have to say round where we are rifle men do seem to be a numbers thats all they care about. they like to totaly wipe a area out and then they are proud of it. it really pisses me off to hear it

    pure bred bull types heads split at certian age and i would say depending on how much bull is in the dog and how big the head is that it would other wise you would what an absolute load of rubbish. heads spliting. if you could hear yourself

    i wouldnt worry to much about how tall it gets mate. dont matter how big they are if they havnt got the heart they wont do the business

    red filter while i am calling them in then when close enough white light them for the dog. works for me. never run rabbits with the filters

    i have to agree with you there mate. mine was fine with them and when he had his first munty i never give it a thought untill he saw a sheep luckily i i managed to call him back but i think he would of he still is a bit unsure now. if you give your dog a wide variety of game i think you can have problems. just my opinion though im sure some poeple have managed to crack it atb mike

    no its not my business but it really makes me sad to see all those hares shot. such a good animal to end up like that. and to shoot that many aswell

    ye i got one dam- was a collie grey, sire-5/8 3/8. made 27'' and bout 70lb very good dog. only 20 months but he is doing everything you put infront of him atb mike
