  1. hi lads let the young bull x in garden yesterday for a play and i heard great yelp some how he has torn a toe nail right off. bit of a pisser because i was just getting him fit ready to to hopefully start taking out next few weeks. tried putting bandage on it keeps ripping it off. im bathing it in some disinfectant. what is the best way to deal with it and get him back out and about. ADVICE WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED cheers mike

  4. in midlands light is down to £15o-16o.lead is £550 a tonne .Copper is £3100 a tonne now i took some into day. most of mine is copper though im a plumber by trade. cheers mike
  5. i put mine in when they were 6 weeks old never no problems.they have few little scraps but nothing bad

  8. I think you have just been lucky. Mine is about that old and the wiring has come adrift in every possible way and carries about 3 miles of black tape. They ought to supply soldering irons with them free imo. my lightforce lamp is a pain in the arse the wiring in the handle is always breaking. i carry a soldering pen with me now in the field because it always breaks when im having a good night lamping
  9. go on ukshoot warehouse web site think they are sillysocks they are the best around at moment only cost about 12 for 10. everyone i know thats got them have said how many more they get with them
  10. iv got same problem with my 10 month old bullx il be waiting to here the replies too mate. iv heard mixed things most say wont make a difference if its in them they will do it
  11. will be nice to see mate, looking forward to them . i have yes mate quite regular as well. one field i have is a right pig to run a dog on or shoot because of the houses over looking it so now i ferret it by night in the dark it works quite well. You must have ferrets that wont just come out the hole though and run off gota be able to call them too you.I always tend to use purse nets as well. good luck if you try it mike
  12. yeah i see what your saying ripstop think il keep up the training and walking and see if i can get him going that way. Maybe he might just stumble on the right rabbit that way and he will be off.i dont realy want to start running him properly yet for at least another few months. cheers mike
  13. yeah i didnt mean start running full time every week. i would just like him to start seeing something maybe get an idea because iv tried him on ragging dead quarry and he just aint interested. Unless it moves he dont want to know. somebody did tell me though that bull x are late maturer's. cheers for the replies and advice though mike

  16. while your on subject of jabs i did mine myself and iv gota book them into kennels and they want all the relevent paperwork.can my dogs be done again at the vets there 10 months old now. or is there away of getting around it

  20. hi everyone got a bullx pup 10 months old now.my first lurcher was just wondering if you have any advice on the best way to get them going. Is it best to start with another dog that is doing the business or on there own. Any suggestions or if anybody in the worcestershire area wouldnt mind taking me out would realy be appreciated. cheers mike
